That is because you do not understand Sanskrit. That is the Mother of all Languages and the greatness of Sanskrit Poetry has been present before mortals in the form of two Greatest Granths of Human existence - Mahabharat and Ramayan
These punjabis are just gifted people, They elevate music to a new level. Be it India or Pakistan punjabis in both these nations are gifted with stunning voices
Aahhooo.. Oohuurr Ki .. But our Pak Punjabi , Sairiki poetry .. Kamal aasssttt .... Ya Legends Bully Shah , Warisi Shah , MYan Muhammad Bakhsh Punjabi shayeri Shaandaur ... Allffaaz buhat meethy a6y lagty han bolny ma punjabi , sairiki k ..... ...... .......Persian , Arabic poetry also Fantastic baa shartte if u understand these both languages or speak
Rohail is an artist and arranger talented to the extreme ... .He can mix percussions , strings , electronic instruments while maintaining the essence of the original song ... refining it and making it more beautiful still ... What I see here is the soul of someone who can get the best out of the musicality of each artist transforming the music of this country - which is a very complex genre in their shades - in a harmonious whole, well prepared and digestible for everyone who has a more refined taste in music .
That's the way to blend a folk tune -- Punjabi in this case -- with a backup combo of jazz/reggae/punjabi folk into something wonderful. Hats off to Pakistani Coke Studio and the musicians.
there's no comparison of coke studio pakistan in the world ... spirtuirl music..feeling likes heaven !!!some time i went in heaven through this awesome voice and music..love frm FRANCE ..loved it love love love
This music is easily beyond boarders and such a great arrangement and well produced. This is my favorite so far of the songs in the whole Coke studio series. I am a fan of Ali Khan now.
Fareeha Pervaiz..never fails to amaze me with her performance..she knows how to play with strings of our hearts...touching at the right notes..and i am in trance till the performance ends...hats off to her..asset of Pakistani music.
i don't understand why CS songs are horribly underviewed! RUclips ban in Pakistan is not a sound logic here. 90% of CS songs deserve multi-million views!
Pakistan music is fantastic, it gets even richer with such pop/ntechno/jazzistic arrangements... without losing its noble essence! Thanks for sharing Rohail!!!
Rohail Hayat should take Coke Studio Pakistan's superb collection of instruments players and singers with his composition and arrangement for a world wide tour. This creativity would attract people interested in soul satisfying music from every cultural and language background. Great creativity indeed.
I have the utmost respect for Bulleh Shah ji, however, I get the feeling that Sultan Bahu doesn't get the same recognition and his kalaam are not sung to the extent say Bulleh Shah's have been.
***** I think he's not so much mentioned in public gatherings thus his poems are not much known. Bulleh Ji's could be heard being read in the dargahs. I read some of Sultan Bahu poems and they're actually very nice. Maybe the lyrics are quite high for the public since the poets are quite discreet in their choice of words. I agree that people should sing more of his poems in order to introduce them to international audience. Perhaps our brothers and sisters from India could also help in rendering their own interpretation for these respectable poets since we're sharing them as part of our culture. I could listen to our fellow Eastern Punjab singers singing Bulleh Ji's poems too. I believe they could do the same for other poets. Nonetheless, both of them have great ideas in artistic way. Hope we could enjoy them together, cheers :)
Muhammad Tan'im I agree, both of these poets were saints in their own right and I do enjoy poetry by both. However, I think Sultan Bahu is far more critical of the institutionalised religion than Bulleh shah. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoy reading both and even more so listening to the poetry through great many artists, especially Abida Parveen.
Love to our Turk brothers from the core of our hearts. I also listen to Turkish music and its great specifically the soft composition as they provide a sense of calmness. #seniseveyorum
Rohail Hyaat.... You have done a heavenly job... Please come back to coke studio.. this strings kids have ruined it... Please come back to coke studio....
Fantastic. ....never heard such a beautifully composed music before. ...great singers and a great band of talented musicians. ...lots of love ....Many blessings from Dubai to you all.
The arrangement with the western instruments works so well with the vocals which are hard-core from the Indian Sub-continent! Beautiful fusion! Take a bow (another) Rohail Hyatt!
There's no boundaries in such music, no need to make territorial arguments. This is proven by the fact this year Coke Studio has gone international. Ignore rude comments about Pak v India, everyone's welcome. Thumbs up for appreciation for Coke Studio Pakistan from the UK! :D
I am always amazed every time I watch/listen to this song. Wish one day, I would love to play in Coke Studio Pakistan myself with the likes of Fariha/Meesha/Quratulain/Hadiqa ...let's see! And the composition is full of surprises when it comes to the beautiful use of musical instruments ...starts with base, drums ...then sax come in ..and then dhol ..amazing thing 👍👍 ...amor de la India, gracias por todo ☘️☘️
I understand the sentiment of most people who're claiming that inviting foreign elements into our musical/cultural enclosure makes the kalaam lose it's authenticity. But to put it in context, the purists claim previous renditions by Coke Studio weren't the real deal either and I for one am glad that now I understand the poetry and sentiment of Sufi music much better than before. As far as western elements being included in the new format goes, I applaud Coke Studio for being secure enough in it's own identity to experiment and try new things (which sometimes work and sometimes not). Without it, I would not have been introduced to the 'Dotara' or the Nepali 'Sarangi', some of the sweetest sounds I've heard in a long time. Looking at previous seasons, not every song was a 'hit' and not every singer Sain Zahoor/Abida Parveen/Arif Lohar etc. But there are people who do appreciate the effort and it does broaden our horizons and helps us explore different things. There might be another Tahir Mithu/Chakwal Group just waiting to be discovered and I am glad that CS is growing and taking risks instead of stagnating and decaying. That said, CS people, please regulate the airing schedule and publish the dates. It's pretty hard to wait like this!
10/10 for each and every artist in this song. The lady singer's voice was simply Adorable. I really like the outfits that other women singers were wearing..they are rich, elegant and graceful.
Most Underrated Song Of Coke Studio. Fariha Pervez has mater her craft. I remember listening to her songs as a child. Be it basant song or sufi radiation, she is the undeclared pop queen of Pakistan.
Fabulous song!! I just want to comment on the lyrics meaning..Bulleya jaag bina dudh nahin jamda bhaavein laal hove kadh kadh ke..It means that the milk will not convert into curd without curdling it even if it becomes red after simmering over heat...Kadh means to simmer in Punjabi.
Small input... Jhaag Bina dudh nahi kadhta... Pavein laal Hove kadh kadh ke. Without a boil on high flame creating froth, the milk with not reduce to khoya.... Even if you burn it by simmering for a long time. Meaning being one has to go through tough times to achieve the end result. (Source- only my interpretation)
Heard this so many times and enjoyed a lot! This is certainly out of the box! The singing, the amazing musicians, the sargam and alaap by Muazzam Ali and the overall production! A BIG Wow!!!♥
Great job guys ...Great job by foreign musicians as well on keyboard, drums, Saxophone ...just amazing to hear it ...I could do all my gym routine yesterday listening to these two songs (the one by Muazzam and Rizwan Jana Jogi de naal) ...as the music is so peaceful, meaningful and yet so energetic ...simply great, Coke Studio Pakistan. Well done Fariha Parvez ✌️✌️. Love and regards from Jammu, India.
before this song, i had never heard brass and sax played alongside dhol, Rohail Hayat you have out-done yourself once again!!! A masterpiece. Thank You.

wow...Muazzam rivals only with Nusrat AK in the speed of his "percussionist " vocals...incredible...
Sunday 02:20 PM Salutations from Brazil
sss
Ustad Nusrat is god of this... Muazzam may well be his worhty successor but not right now he is not at that level as Nusrat Ali Khan.
Muazzam is real nephew of NusratFAK.
Muazzam is Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's nephew that's the reason of this resemblance.
Eli Francisco
Muazzam is nephew of late Usatad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
It’s blood “ percussionist “

Pearls! These songs in coke studio renditions are precious pearls. This is one such exquisite song!
The transition to drums at 4:40 is just too good.
Most Underrated Song Of Coke Studio. Fariha Pervez has mater her craft. I remember listening to her songs as a child. Be it basant song or sufi radiation, she is the undeclared pop queen of Pakistan.

Excellent--one mistake- jagh bina dudh nahi jamda[ instead of karda].
Ashwani Suri Karda means Fully boiled in Punjabi spoken in Pakistani punjaab, very common word.
Its jamda ....karda tan agg te hunda.

Yes jaag bina dudh nai jamda
