Thank you, we are really pleased you liked this episode, it’s great to see the villages and surrounding areas that inspired our founder (Roye England) to create the Pendon museum that is loved by so many.
Fabulous information and a reminder we should never let go of our artistic creativity and the time required to express this fully whether in reality or in Model making. These videos too are a joy to watch when living so far away. A constant nudge that I must visit soon. Can’t think of any other 1:76 scale model railway scenes that embrace and enjoy the space given over to them like this. It’s an absolute joy to watch the locomotives with various carriages and loads, as they’re filmed, gently weaving their way through each rolling vista, past buildings, over and under bridges, across generously set out point work and through open goods yards and stations. A gentle reminder too that just as so many models can become cramped and over cooked, so can our daily lives and the places we inhabit.
Many thanks for you positive comments and thoughts Andy. It's great to know that you really like our Pendon models and layout. We hope to welcome you to the museum in the near future, we are sure you will be equally impressed with the the shear size and detail of the diorama.
We are very pleased you enjoyed this episode. Episode three will be released this time next month. If you would like to see some of Pendon’s hidden gems just click here. pendonmuseum.com/youtube

Thanks for sharing this interesting information ! It's striking that with simple tools and local materials our ancestors constructed these lovely buildings still standing today. Architecture was at a humble human scale and beautifully integrated in its environment. Living of the land was respectful even with the hard labor involved. It was all interconnected. We lost it and have disaster "economy" today based on never ending "consumption" and waste production...and manipulated inflation as a result. Just an observation, but there are lessons to be learned from the past. Pendon Museum is to be applauded for this beautiful work ! Greetings from France.
Many thanks for your insightful comment Filip. It is good that our museum and our videos help everyone understand how much life has changed. I think we can all agree that some changes have been very good and others not so. We will explore more villages of the area in the coming months. Thanks for watching!
Many thanks for you comment and a great suggestion. We do have a video that highlights the making of Duck Stores, very interesting. Just click here to view. ruclips.net/video/G8OopOWLBYo/видео.html

Very interesting. You should do a video on behind the scenes and how buildings are made for pendon. I feel that would be very interesting.
