I just got done a gripper nd grip lift workout as well. I was planning on hitting a new pr but this week at work fried my grip. I was 20lbs under my grip on the dynamometer from last week so i knew i wasnt gunna get it. I still tried but was like an 1/8" off. Armwrestling today def didnt help either haha. Ill get it in a week or 2 hopefully if im recovered and my wrist continues to heal.

Do you think finger curls could be a good alternative to grippers for crushing grip?

This is a good question. I don't think there is any alternative exercise that would translate directly to torsion spring grippers, but finger curls would be better than nothing if you had no grippers to train with.

Bro, I am impressed by anyone who consistently trains grip. Yes, closing a #2 is good no matter what age or body weight. Keep training!
