- Time for another episode of EtD's Oddities. Learn of a secret out of bounds gem basket, quirks of disappearing assets, a firework that kills Spyro?! and much more!
Huge thanks to LuckyLever for pointing out that Spyro's glide animation speed increases when using breaths - / @luckyleverviejo
“BABE WAKE UP THERES 50 MORE SPYRO ETD ODDITIES”
*No, you can't just create endless content about the weirdness of one game*
Mr. FO1: "Observe"
I need this game to be remade so badly.
The model was made in Dec 2000? WOW! So, that means they immediately began the production of the Enter The Dragonfly after the release of Year of the Dragon.
And I always Assume Spyro Season of Ice is Time frame wise after Spyro 3 and Before 4.
Even though this game is universally panned it will always be special to me because of the memories I had and how much i enjoyed it as a kid. I'm honestly so happy there's people who are as passionate about this game as I am.
Your entire exploration of ETD so far is like exploring the extensive depths of a city, there's many areas you know so well, but find yourself amazed at the hidden depths, some of those hidden depths much nearer to what you are familiar with than your imagination would expect you to believe.
It’s like you are going deeper and deeper into the game as if it is an treasure chest without an bottom haha 💜
Thank you so much for these! The dev comments are really interesting haha
The bridge collision not returning at 2:50 is so trippy. I sort of wish we could do that for the full game. That would be the ultimate test of knowledge for ETD
When this came out, as a kid, I had no clue what the difference was between a well-polished game vs an unfinished game. I just enjoyed it to bits.
I love these videos, I'm enjoying looking at all the bugs I hardly noticed before!
Your dedicated research of this game is doing wonders for the community. I’m trying to also do as much research as well for a passion project of mine.
oh, #38 gives me some serious nostalgia, man. i played with that glitch a LOT
9:42 I remember doing this, randomly, in the minigame with the spiders in the same level! I don't know how I did it back then.
Oh ma gawd I love these oddities videos
Wow! You discovered even more weird stuff about this rushed game. Well done! 👍🏻
MORE-ER!!!
(great video!)
Entertaining video, but probably a whole horror movie for any devs who remember this. 😅
On a sidenote, man, Honey marsh had such a great vibe.
Huh, I'm only a couple months older than the Spyro model
The Honey Bee World is Also in Spyro Season of Ice.
Sighhhhh this could have been such a great game if they hadn't screwed it up smh
Never played this game, but I did grow up with the Spyro trilogy in the original PSOne.
Despite that, these videos have been quite entertaining, especially after learning the story behind the development of it. Nice work documenting all these things, subbed.
Also, what's the track at 10:39? It's oddly soothing.
Glad to hear you enjoy! That track is a sped up version of Platform Peril from the game’s soundtrack.
@@MrFO1 Oh that explains it, I couldn't find it while looking around on RUclips lol
I hate to ask, but any chance you can upload your edit of that song for download? I'd edit it myself, but I lack a computer for the time being.
@@SemperFi777 Sure, I’ll do it later today if I don’t forget :)
@Semper Fi Here ya go: drive.google.com/file/d/1n0oq0EQS0K0YJaxfiCUcCyoAqw-UdJ0i/view?usp=sharing
@@MrFO1 sweet! Thanks a lot ^^
More videos about this game please, i loved this oddities a lot. It's a shame this game was rushed with cut contents 😢
you're welcome
I just found it accidentally when playing the game
at 12:19, why is the portal slowly moving toward the camera? is that normal?
That’s because I replaced the Rickshaw enemies with the portal model to be able to view it and they need a speed value otherwise if it’s set to 0 they spawn in the ground :)
what's the name of the music starting from 6:30?
That’s a slowed down version of Riptoc Factory Bombing.
How can a game have so many mistakes they must have been really rushed on the testing.
Look up Spyro ETD Documentary
This game is a broken mess!
It is, but there’s a lot to love underneath the mess that people very often overlook.
whats the song used at 0:19 thanks
It’s a slowed down version of the game’s credits.
@@MrFO1 wow ur quick, tanks
