Trivia about Charlene, Shes married to Aga Muhlach, a VERY famous actor in the Philippines, a FORMER Boyfriend of Miss Universe, 1993, Dayanara Torres, currently a host and her face is all over SM Malls, The Biggest Mall in the country, I wonder, why would they get her if shes not beautiful, huh!

Denise Quinones won in her country of Puerto Rico in 2001 and there were no issues... India deserves to win that year, no doubt about that!
the biggest scandal in MU history is that PR won in 2001, in her home country, 2 of the judges were from Puerto Rico, namely Dayanara Torres and of course Marc Anthony, who dared to give the ultimate favour of that year, Miss Greece, the lowest score in the swimmsuit competition, although that candidate has the best ever catwalk and sexiest body in MU history
@prettyasian888 I'd have to agree with this. Probably is the best one of all the Miss Universes, and right after this is when changes were made, and they've never achieved this level again. Even though I would have picked Columbia over India, and absolutely loved both Slovak Rep and Switzerland, it still is probably the best Universe pageant to have happened. And I believe that every semi-finalist deserved their spot, and it was one tight competition just to get to that point
But we are talking about Charlene, and at that time, shes the best. I have high regards for mexican beauties like Lupita,Vanessa Guzman. Lets celebrate beauties and not fight over it.

i know, we should celebrate beauties, I simply was not a fan of charlene, and yes lupita, vanessa guzman are stunning mexican women, such as silvia salgado, rosalva luna, laura elizondo, priscila perales, and I think rosa maria ojeda miss mexico for miss universe 2007 will do a STUNNING JOB.
My top 3 would have been Colombia Slovak Republic and Venezuela and for the top 6 I would have included Italy India and Greece

this edition of MU doesn't look like it was in 1994. the stage, the gowns showcased, the entire production seemed like it was not in 1994. evnthough 20 years had passed, still look classy and truly one of the best editions of MU.

The Miss Universe pageant was held in Manila in 1974, 1994, and 2017. The 74 is better, while the 94 is the best. About 2017? Bullshit, it cant even match the lively spectacular presentations of 74 and 94.

aunque la eleccion de la miss universe no fue la mas acertada la edicion del 94 fue una de las mejores, muy buena organizacion , las candidatas de excelente nivel y el presentador muy ameno y conpenetrado con las candidatas,muy acorde con todo, no como el descalabro del 93 que culmino con la peor eleccion de miss universe, con el publico furioso por no ver a la mexicana entre las favoritas, el animador histerico y las ex mises presentes asustadisimas

las mas bonitas son Sweden, Phillipines, Slovac Rep. y Venezuela, lastimosamente India no es una de las bonitas, mas bien es seriona y bonachona pero bonita no es, ni siquiera tiene esa chispa de las miss universe, pero así es este bendito concurso, todos los años sorpresas y sorprendidos.

Es muy fácil salir a decir y sacar como escusa "es que todas son operadas", pero infórmense no queden como simples envidiosos El Miss Venezuela es una academia de renombre por la formación que le da a sus participantes, es tanto así que cuando entrenaron a Amelia Vega de Dominicana la misma gano, el mismo secreto aplican en Puerto Rico y a ellos bastante bien que les va, es como si en Venezuela dijéramos "Es que a los futbolistas Brasileros les dan esteroides" sin reconocer su duro entrenamiento
