My city doesn't have an NBA team but I love Pop, think Spurs are a stand up organization. I'm proud of Udoka - he put in so much work to shed weight and become more agile. Even if he's never a big minutes guy, I'd love to see him come off the bench and contribute at the next level. His footwork is deceptively good, played soccer when he was younger
As a Baylor fan it’s hard to be mad about this game. Our second best scorer coming off an injury, our guys shots not falling like they normally do, all the while getting absolutely torn up on the inside and we still hang on. Baylor is for real, Kansas is for real. Going to be a fun March
Not even sure this is the best game that Kansas has been in all season. They had an overtime classic against Dayton in Maui Invitational Final. But this was a great game.
A light has come on in Udokas head. He is now the beast we have been waiting for. Only disappointment in this game was Ochai...he needs to run and get open. He is playing slow and always looking to pass the ball when he gets it. Besides that, great game KU!
God I wish this year wasn't cancelled so unfortunate.. could have been KU's first national title sense 2008.. and I also feel bad for Gonzaga because they have never won a national championship this year could have been that special year for them..
Self knows how to run a high low, but he adjusted it in a genius way. Duke used some similar looks to keep some of those double teams and sagging defenses from clogging Doke up down low
So unfortunate that this year was cancelled Kansas had such a good team national title contenders... I also feel bad for Gonzaga they have never won a national championship this year this year also could have been the year they finally got one..
I'm not sure about that, but I think he should be in serious contention for Big 12 Player of the Year now. I know Dotson for KU averages more points, but I don't think he has as much of an impact as Dok does. Kansas is a much better team when Dok is on the floor verses when he isn't, because: A) He is a rim protector now, so the guards can put more pressure on the man they're guarding. If the player gets past them then Dok can either erase that by blocking the shot or altering the shot. B) Defenses have to adjust to him. He can score on just about everyone down low one-on-one, so you have to bring help. When that happens one of the guards is now open.
Azubuike a 20 year old college senior? so he went to College at around 16 years old? should he be eligible to play for Kansas again since he's 2 years younger than the average senior?
@@coreysparks3531 yeah I get what you mean it does seem that way - I think the long injury recoveries made it seem like hes played less than he has. If he had red shirted any of his first four years he could play another, but he'll be heading to the draft from here. Pulling for him!
@Who Dat yup a lot of people poking fun at early exits or upsets root for teams that don't make it every year...a first round upset beats not being good enough to make the tourney. Probably at Allen Fieldhouse for their 300th consecutive sold out game. Been sold out since 2001. It was great going into Baylor and returning the favor.
