I take it you mean if you do not make a form to add data. no it makes no difference. Entering your record at the end of the table or through a form is exactly the same thing. The reason i always use a form is so that students practice making forms even if it is not required. This way if a form comes up in the exam they are prepared and will be able to generate the form quickly. One note however, a common mistake students make is that they normally have the table open and when they enter the new record through the form they do not see it appear in the table. This is because the table is open and will not update in real time. The record has been entered and will appear as soon as they close the table and open it again.

Hello. I was wondering in the Step 5 evidence, shouldn't we include the paragraph tab. otherwise the line spacing is not mentioned in the evidence snipshot
I wanted to ask do the access report have to be printed on one page or it can be two pages and if yes how to force all data on one page? Also all the final documents that we have to print, do we print them ourselves or just set them to the printer and the examiner will bring it to us?
The number of pages depends on the question. If it does not say then there is no limit. If it says that the report must be on one page then it must be one page. As for the printouts, the exam supervisors will ring the printouts to you. You are not allowed to get out of your seat during the exam.
i noticed that in the previous past papers, there are questions to be answered in the evidence document, for example difference between relational and the other database. has those questions been removed in the 2024 syllabus for paper 2 and paper 3?
Yes. In the past there was a theory component in the practical papers where you had to answer theory based questions in Word, PowerPoint, Web design or in the Evidence. This component has been removed so you will not have to answer theory questions in papers 2 and 3

Hello. For Task 15. When I fill the new records on the table, it gives me an error. It says "The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate values and try again." Can you help me fix that solution. I did set the correct primary key and follow everything.
Yes, this means that you have already added the record and you are trying to add it again. Because you are adding the same record which contains a primary key it is saying you cant do this as it would create a duplicate. If you want, open the table and search for the record, you will see you have already added it.

Hello sir!, when going to Layout and columns. The width and spacing of mine doesnt come as cm, it comes as 9.72" unlike yours come in 11.71cm How do I do that sir could you please tell me? or how do i convert from " to cm
Just enter the value in cm and type cm. so for example type 10cm. It will display it in inches but that is ok as the distance is 10cm. you can if you like change the units to cm by changing your regional settings but you do not have to.
