Like you, I have two absolute favorites. Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille, my first true love when I made this a hobby....and then Chergui by Serge Lutens. Absolutely beautiful!
Play drums, wear fragrances! Tobacco Vanille would be on this list but I don't have a bottle because I have like 5 sample vials of it. I'm gonna grab it this year though. It's a must have to me.

My top 3 in my collection are..
1. Fan your flames
2. Herod
3. Jazz Club
Not really big on the tobacco note but to me the tobacco is blended exceptionally well in these 3 fragrances. Great video btw 👍🏽

Really like this list! Actually omw to Nordstrom to pick up Le Labo Tabac 28 today. Have you tried Armani Privé Bleu Lazuli or Savoir Faire Soul Cafe? Very nice tobacco fragrances
Thanks! I haven't tried either yet. I'll be at my local Neiman's in a few days and I'll see if they have the Armani. I plan to get samples of the Savoir Faire catalog real soon. I'll have to get my nose on Tabac 28 as well. It should be at my local Bloomingdale's.
@@thefragrancewell You live in Miami? Tabac 28 is only available there year round. If not, September is the only time you can get it outside of Miami. Le Labo is weird with their city exclusives
I forgot that it’s a Miami exclusive. I don’t live there but I sometimes work near Miami. Maybe I’ll make a detour to check it out.

Tobacco is my fave note, i have about 60 different ones. Lol, My top ten doesn't have too much cross over.
Top 5
1A/1B . Tobacco Oud (TF), Tobacco Vanille (TF) - The former knocked my socks off, the latter got me in the Tobacco game
3. Tabac (ATH) - His take on Tobacco Oud, very good. The tobacco is strong, and the oud isn't the designer oud that's in everything.
4. Royal Tobacco (Amouage) - Tobacco and Incense - If this was actual tobacco, 1 puff = Black lung
5. Tabac 28 (Le Labo) - a fresh/green/wet tobacco. Supposed to be that Miami/Havana cigar shop vibe. I can see it.
Really Cheap But Good Tobacco
1) Rich Warm Addictive - Zara - I should get a second bottle. Sweet/Spicy/warm
2) Tobacco Blaze - Rasasi - Raspberry Shisha
3) Tobacco and Tonka - Banana Republic. - In the same vein as Zara, but different
Designer Tobacco - Man in Black - BVLGARI - My Office Tobacco (and my Office Rum)
Indie Tobacco - The Tobacconist - House of Mammoth - one of my top 5 grabs this year. Smells like a cigar shop.
Niche Tobacco - Smoke - Akro; Tobacco? It's smells like Backyard BBQ, pork ribs smoked over cherry wood - but the tobacco is there.
Discontinued Tobacco - Roaring Radcliff - Penhaligon's - A very rich/warm/spicy tobacco. An English take on Tobacco Vanille; Tobacco Reserve - Aramis - a banana tobacco. interesting blend.
Ridiculously Expensive Tobacco (at retail) - Habanos - Royal Crown ; Back to Black - By Kilian - Habanos is a wet tobacco like Tabac 28, and Back to Black is along those lines as well.
Now this is a tobacco scent breakdown! Love it

I am with you and Tobacco being my favorite note and having little crossover with his list. But that just shows the versatility of Tobacco fragrances.
Hidden gem of an account
I feel the tobacco in Wanted by Night mostly in the opening. On the drydown it becomes caramel sweet.

Royal Tobacco is stunning. And I acquired Tobacco Oud after I shot this video 🤦🏾♂️
my fave tobacco predominant frags are tobacco oud, tobacco vanille by TF and then kerosene broken theories. A bold nuclear one!

I own five of the fragrances on your list and Oud Tobacco needs to be renamed as a lot of Montale fragrances. I get zero oud and zero tobacco but it’s still a nice fragrance. If you get a chance treat yourself to Zarahoff Signature Leather Tabac. It has jumped all of my tobacco fragrances to number one in my collection. It’s manly, smoky, nuclear, and beautiful at the same time. It moved Mancera Red Tobacco (both iterations) to second place. Both are true tobacco/oud fragrances unlike Montale.
I’ve added a few better tobacco fragrances to my library since I did this video. I plan to add leather tabac at some point. I do get tobacco in Oud Tobacco but in the dry down.
