I was a TV snob, have to admit. Only brand names for me. My wife is practical, which ain't bad, and she bought a cheap small TV for her office as I protested. I was amazed how good it looked. So amazed, I bought the same brand...50 inch 4k for my situation room. It is absolutely amazing and on par and better than my other more expensive TV's. Got it for $250. If it craps out in a year or two, I'll have it warranty fixed if possible or just get another one. Specs don't matter to me overall anymore. It's 60Hz, so what. What matters is how it looks, and the cheap set I got is outstanding.
@@FishBeeProductions I have a 32 inch Sceptre I bought in early 2016 that I use as a computer monitor. Other than the power button not working on the remote (which happened recently) and a speaker being blown (I use a better speaker system anyway) it works fine. I tried to get one of these tv's. Wasn't meant for me to have. Texted a friend who works at Wal-Mart beforehand and got no response from him. Went there when they opened and some people were buying 5 of these. They ran out there. Went to 2 other Wal-Marts and people were fighting over them. With knowledge of the shooting that just happened I decided to leave and let them elbow each other for the last 50 or so they had. If anyone knows where I can buy one let me know please.
@@JewelRiver87 I use the remote only to turn the tv on & off. And you're right about everything. As far as the volume they don't make the sounds on these tv's like they used to. I still have a flat screen from 2008 with the volume sounding WAY better than this tv. They want people to buy those sound bars and stuff. Thanks for the heads up.
I prefer three HDMI ports instead of two. But this is a smart TV. I have bought two fire sticks and used them in the same TV that way I can add different apps. And then bought a Chromecast and added that too.
The worst TV ever. This company is a scam. The remote died after three weeks. The TV went black after two months. The customer service is absolutely horrible. They treat you like you're the idiot for buying the TV. If you're looking to waste money you're better of gambling.

I have the Lenovo Tab M10 3rd Gen. Very satisfied of it after 6 months, especially for the price I paid. It has a significant CPU upgrade from the 2nd Gen. The Lenovo "Android Update Matrix" (not permitted to link it by RUclips, but you can Google it), says it will get the Android 13 update in Q2 2023 and security updates until March 31 2025. No Android update after Android 13, as per the unfortunate Lenovo/Motorola tradition. But then, the Tab M10 3rd Gen is cheaper than a Samsung equivalent. I have a Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus I bought in 2018, still running Android 7 (it got no OS update), and still doing everything I need.
What settings are you running for the display? I recently receieved one as a gift and the exposure or constrast is so terrible that some titles on netflix seem blurry due to contrast or saturation. The tv speakers are even worse. They have not even the slightest bit of dynamics. No bass , terrible mids , not even great treble. They are equivalent to what a tiny 5$ portable speaker will get you. I replaced a tcl with this tv and let me tell you. If you want cheap tcl is the way to go. Not this. Unless you know someone thats oblivious enough to enjoy a subpar product
You should be able to skip downloading apps and stuff but usually you have to go to setup to set up preferences and WiFi for updates and stuff. After that you can assign it to only go to Apple TV every time the tv is turned on.

The audio is terrible. Bump some music and see how different the track sounds because these speakers can't even reproduce bass at all (deep bass is not ever expected for small full range drivers , but it cannot even handle making a thump sound with high frequency bass, bass is just completely non existent) everything else sounds terrible too. It just sounds like im listening to a shitty ass 25cent speaker
Do you still have it and use it? My goddaughter purchased a Roku produced tv and after a short while of owning it the tube died...just won't work...just like a blown light bulb. There is such a thing as an inexpensive tv working well and lasting a long time, but this Roku tv proved that a low price tv cheaply made is all in the roll of the dice when purchasing a low cost item that IS cheaply made as opposed to inexpensive! 👎👎

Only the cheap TVs include these. Because it's cheaper than adding additional HDMI ports that the higher end TVs have.
