What a wonderful series. I didn't know some of these places were still opened or even existed. I will definitely be bringing my family to SF Chinatown on a regular basis. I grew up here and have the fondest memories. SF Chinatown is such a blessing!!

Thanks for this "offering" I used to walk from Market up Grant to North Beach once a week, and it never got old. Always a little slower during tourist season...

Thanks for the report. SF Chinatown have a historic value that not to many people recognize. I wish more Bay Area local news channels can report on the Chinese community and their culture.

Is her husband Asian? That is the important question. If he is not Asian, then she should stop hosting these segments and stop calling herself Chinese.

So glad that Amber pronounces the dishes correctly in perfect Cantonese accent.

Anytime my parents would go out to eat with their friends, they would give the host their credit card before the meal. Whenever their friends tried to pay for the bill, servers would say it’s already been paid for. Their friends caught on so they did the same thing and my parents would bribe them with a bigger tip to swipe their card.
