- Once again, I’m alive, been a while since I did this kinda video. With the new Fire Emblem game out, I wanted to do so once more, since these are the main videos people know me for nowadays.
For this series I skipped one of the Alear forms to avoid showing the same, or similar convo twice. Due to the fact the Bond Supports seem to be the same for both Leifs, I’m not going to film fem Leif.
The Emblems talk to everyone, with very brief conversations for the most part. There are some gems in the rough, but overall these are fairly meh talks.

For those who haven't played FE5, "Murder Holes" refers to a time when Kempf attempted a last-ditch effort to defeat Leif's army by locking everyone in the dungeons beneath his castle. If his men didn't want to fight, their only way of leaving was by going through Leif's army to reach the exit.

Sadly enough, the more accurate term is Balistraria. The exact term used in the Project Exile translation patch.
Murder Holes were holes located on the ceilings, whereas Balistraria were holes located on the walls.

When Leif actually thought about Amber's alpaca proposal and voiced his thoughts I died 💀 so polite
I find it wild that leif gives characters proficiency in every weapon except magic tomes and fists.
Getting him to B rank alone gives every character the ability to reclass as almost anything else
This is because of his promoter class in fe4, Master Knight. He can woeld just about everything except dark magic

@@matteomiriello1661 It's kinda hard to find the real ring wielder of Leif. My other two guesses are Alcryst because Leif uses the Master Bow only in the Engage Attack, and Zelkov because it has Knife Precision.

These feel really bland and innocuous. They don't really commit to giving him much of a characterization, and it also feels like they missed too many great chances to to make references and direct comparisons to FE5, but out of the few references that made it in, it actually makes me insanely happy that Dorias and then out of all things freaking "Murder Holes" made it in, grants me feels and keks in equal measure. And it's very small and in passing but it's also nice to see him mention that the role of Hero was given to him, that was a pretty important theme in FE5.
Yeah, compared to the others, other than Marth and Micaiah, I find Leif’s bond conversations to be the blandest of all.
My impression is that because Leif knows so much on others (ie all weapons except dark magic) that he just has a general nice guy attitude. Bland? maybe but nothing can be perfect

@@Imnothere05 you’re right about that. It’s just I normally ignore the FeH voices since they often don’t match well for characters or it’s just bad voice acting.
Like the fated holy night sigurds voice is genuinely awful. And then characters like Soren being voiced by Kyle McCarly or Ares by Robbie Daymond just does not match up well at all.
