I personally like the new sprites. The field spites in the original were always a bit undetailed and ugly so much so that they changed Edgeworth's between games. I like being able to see the characters expressions on the field.
Plus the sprites are actually the poorly upscaled versions from iOS. I'm not about to pretend the new custom art by the OG designer is inferior just because I have gacha brainrot

It just feels like they tried to make the pun way too on the nose and I personally would say the name Eddie doesn't fit him at all(i am mostly basing that iff the design, since i dont know that much about that character). But it won't stop me from playing the game
