An apartment’s view is really, REALLY important, yet your videographer zips past the windows as if they were blank walls to be gotten past as quickly as possible. I suggest that he pause for a good two seconds of SLOW scan per window, instead of racing past them. Views are a crucial feature to any serious apartment-hunter.
Hi Caira, thanks for the video! I spontaneously decided to move to Chicago after watching your videos just a couple of days back. Plan to move in 2 weeks. Anyway, could you please advise what are the rental criteria usually, in your experience, like, for example, that salary should be 2.5x or 3x the rent, things like that. And what is usually included and not included from utilities, meaning to understand how much more to put in budget for internet, water, sewer, trash, etc. Thanks again!
My budget was about $765, which I believe is what I used to pay for my studio in Lakeview years ago. $1,000 is obscene. I am never going to find apartment in this miserable city again. What kind of jobs do people have that they can afford this?! Mind boggling.
Definitely #2 that's next to the Jewel at Division/Clark. West Loop and Fulton are boring/stale neighborhoods. The #1 South Loop if it's straight budget.
These apartments are so beautiful but a bit expensive in my opinion. Most 3 bedroom house with finished basement and garage go for those prices in Edmonton, Canada.
Chicago is so expensive I been looking for an apartment and everything I find around my budget they ask for people to make 3x the rent it was so much easier to find apartments back in the good old days. And not many are pet friendly. 😢
I think the 1rst one is the best budget wise apartment with space for the $, yet that 3rd one has that combination of both…laundry differential I’m looking to move soon are there any good studios ranging 1,200-1,500 in close to downtown area; I work @ Clinton & Vanburan
Hi Caira, I asked on another video but will post again here. Now that you are a licensed broker, do you prefer working with leases/rentals or home sales? And why?
The 3rd one is my absolute favourite 😍
The prices in Chicago are pretty stellar compared to the other large cities in the US.
Totally agree with this!

825 Sq feet was my favorite
All looked good even the one not updated
Thanks for sharing
The 1st and the 3rd are the best
These units are so nice!! It would be cool if you could briefly comment the main building amenities.
I liked #2 and #4 - In a small space, I would appreciate having a balcony!

The 3rd one was my favorite. Great video Caira! 🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love your videos! I wish you could do this for other cities too.
Hi Caira, could you please do one of these videos for people with children, 2-3 bedrooms maybe. Thanks for all that you do.
I’ll be doing a 2 bed one next!!

I think #4 is actually the worst bang for its buck! it’s so small compared to the others!

Different cities different prices!

Third one is very cute❤

I like them all but...#2
The first one
Are there any raccoons in Chicago
Very random question, but yes. I had one living under my porch growing up. We ended up calling animal control.
