Myo inositol and d chiro help to decrease insulin resistance thereby decreasing the production of testosterone from the ovaries. What if your androgen levels are too high for you individually even if they don't present high on blood tests? My testosterone isn't high on blood tests BUT I still had longer cycles, mild hirsutism, and acne as well as an amh of 6.34ng/dl at age 35. My shbg was also low checked a few months ago. I tend to think most women with pcos have insulin resistance so even if myo/d chiro inositol lowers androgens somewhat, wouldn't the lowered insulin resistance that it helps with prove most beneficial regardless? If your shbg is low, your free testosterone even, if within normal limits according to the blood test, might still be too high for you individually, depending on how sensitive you are to the effects of testosterone? I started the supplements about 3 months ago. I have seen nothing but improvements in the past 3 months to my cycles and earlier ovulation, cd 17 now, down from cd 22, since starting these supplements even with supposedly lower androgens to begin with. My dhea also seems to be WNL, maybe slightly high, at 204ng/dl. Serum testosterone was 11ng/dl and free testosterone 2.4pg/ml....

Can you help me with this please i am actually on it know 4 days know but i am diabetic and use to take medformin and stop taking it and start the inisitol D chiro but i realise the inisitol make my sugar levels more higher than when i was on the medformin can you state why i am having this problem
Continue taking the Metformin until you can be weened off it..d chiroinisitol takes time, and works
best with healthy diet and exercise.

I do.. low AMH. No PCOS. My physician prescribed 2000 myo inocitol. However check your testosterone, get advise from a physician. I was prescribed testogel

@@cindys.3908 I'm 34 and have an AMH level of 0.8 after 2 years it went down to 0.5. Doctor said you cant increase your AMH. Did you see an increase in your AMH or egg quality and quantity?

Unfortunately we all have an ongoing decline in ovarian reserve. As far as I know there is no way to increase egg quantity. However, as so many eggs are hibernating in the ovaries, if you give a nice boost, they can be activated. I’ve heard some women’s AMH showed higher lever after taking some of the supplements for few months. I was told that we can definitely increase the egg quality by taking supplements for couple of months.
I only have 6 antral follicles, 2 on life and 4 in right. Left tube is slightly blocked. I wonder how many antral follicles you got?
