It can already replace the FMCB menu, check out my PSBBN in 2024 video that showcases everything PSBBN can do ruclips.net/video/kR1MVcAkW5M/видео.html As for running on a slim, technically possible on some early model slim consoles that still have the HDD connections on the main board BUT it requires a LOT of complicated soldering.
@@CosmicScaleFactor Dang, I sadly have a model without the HDD connection. Do you think it'd be possible to setup something using the Ethernet port, or possibly using those SD card to memory card adapters?
@@milymilo unfortunately not. To get it fully functional would require decompiling and rewriting a load of closed source modules. Even if you jumped over that hurdle, I believe it would run too slow to be usable anyway.
Thanks, I aim to eventually retranslate every online channel. The Konami channel is already complete, has new video downloads and live now. Work has already begun on the Namco and Hudson channels.
@@limmynade "PSBBN Definitive English Patch 2.0" is coming soon. It's going to be a BIG update. It will come with an all new installer that automates the installation process for both PSBBN and PS2/PS1 games. Video tutorial incoming
This is running on PS2. You just need to install the PSBBN software. Check out my other video demonstrating what PSBBN can do ruclips.net/video/kR1MVcAkW5M/видео.htmlsi=dj_S-75nuJfaADja

Thanks for updating this!
THIS IS SO COOL!! I honestly love the PSBBN menu, I'd love for it to replace the old FMCB menu, and be usable on a PS2 Slim.

@@CosmicScaleFactor Ah so there's no chance I could get this to run on my Sony Bravia PS2 despite soft modding it?
@@G1sandG1rlsGaming I'm afraid not, it requires a HDD
Love it, I always found the obvious machine translations off-putting. Thanks for this

I know this is slightly unrelated to the project (I do love it, hoping I can get it set up soon) but what song is playing in the video?
That is the actual background music from the PlayStation Now! channel.
@@CosmicScaleFactor ah thank you!!
is it come for ps2 soon?
