Im a trucker and was going through Lincoln Ohio and saw that exact car. What a beauty. Brings back memories of the good days. Put a tear in my eyes. God bless you all
Some fun Mark IV facts: 1973 was the first year of the new 5 MPH bumpers which changed the look of the front end compared to the 1972 Mark IV. This car has the optional right side mirror, bodyside molding, appearance protection option, and electric rear window deicer. Sadly, no sunroof option (moonroof didn't appear until 1974 model year.) Gorgeous car. I would love to see a 1973 Mark IV without the vinyl roof and just painted to match the rest of the car. I think that would be super sleek!
Absoiutely I have aiways thought if i ran across a super nice Mark with a bad vinyl roof i would have trim removed and roof painted . My problem is i love keeping MY Classics original if possible The way They were Born . Thank You for The Nice Comment. Sincerely Steve Thompson
@@thompsonfamilymotors2385 You're welcome. This Mark had a perfect roof so it would be a sin to have removed it. You might like this idea: when they restored this Mark III, they kept the look of the vinyl roof but painted it instead. Looks great! ruclips.net/video/iDKjQ8MVM78/видео.html I would love a 1976 Carter Mark IV w/moonroof and that crazy velour pillow interior with all the options plus I would get the parts from a 19-72 - 1975 to restore the power window ability for the rear quarter windows. Why they eliminated that in 1976 to save a few bucks is beyond me. Plus, another idea is to put in a 1977- 1979 Mark V instrument panel (much better looking) into a Mark IV.

Awesome horn befitting a land yacht!

This car makes me want to get my Private investigator license
Beautiful original car! I owned a 73 back in the day.
Thanks, We love to try to keep everything as original as possible
Lovely car. Nice country, too!
What an absolutely beautiful Mark IV. I envy whoever gets this fine automobile. Wow.
The color is dark brown metallic. Either 5Q or 5F.
Museum quality
I like the 72, which I, sold it now,I hated it.

Nobody cares.
