My name is Nat and I am a gothic operatic singer, actor and voice artist based in the heart of Kent, England. Music has always played an important part in my life as a musician and I love to use my platform on RUclips to share it in my music reactions.

I hope you'll wear the great jacket you that you showed us the unveiling of sometime in the future (for an Avatar reaction pretty please.... not badgering, just requesting) :) Oh, and love the new intro... each one has been so creative!
The security are just helping the crowd surfers get down safely, it's allowed. It's the easiest way to get out of the crowd if you need to go to the bathroom or get a drink etc.

also ,in a large fastival like waken , there are always people that overestemated themself , and when they are colapsed or on the edge ,and they are in the middle of it ,overhead is the best way to get them to the redcross tents
Here in Europe lots of festivals have banned crowdsurfing, at least officially. Enforcing that ban is another issue, however.

Wellcome back, Nat 😄. Smart suit, btw. The original album version of this contains Walt Whitman's poem by the same title (you should read it). Nightwish is actually one of the most intellectual band ever. Maybe even too intellectual for some of us (me, myself and I included 😳). The intro really is a menacing and haunting one. Technically (as a sparetime drummerish) I admire Jukka's work with the china there a lot. Very powerful performance from Flöör and the boys. Thank you, Nät!

My initiation was Maria Callas, La Mama Morte.... I can vividly remember how and what I felt. I was only 4 yrs old, sat in front of an old fashioned turntable sitting on my knees (some of us can remember the little suitcases, the lid being the speaker). She, the music, did not only touch me, I felt myself dissolving, all was music, all was colour: I didn't exist anymore. In the silence I felt myself coming back in reality. At that young age I didn't have the words for it but it did open my eyes and senses. It became my escape for the dark, from the dark.
How can I forget that it changed my world when the same happens over and over again. It was years and years till I found out the libretto, couldn't stop crying, awareness shifted once more. She always comes to mind when music touches me taking me into that natural high and I thank her every time. A near dead experience at 18 (which I didn't acknowledge till I started working in a hospice 8 yrs ago) was colour being music for which I still cannot find the words, took me in even deeper.
Floor invokes the same in me as Maria did, it is her loving heart oozing out.

Diablo Swing Orchestra is a band I have a feeling you might enjoy. The band is quite obscure I'd say but as far as an avant-garde metalband that mixes in swing, progressive elements and classical music and tops it off with brass and strings they are one of the best!

Good evening from Australia. Subbed for Nightwish - mostly the live material. Quite an act you have here! I'd have to have a heart to experience a myocardial infarction. E-flat#5 -- as you were falling? I heard that!! Have you heard Floor's "slide" from G#3 to D#6? Are you going to do Motionless In White or Type O Negative reactions? Recommend Nightwish "High Hopes" from End of An Era - yes, it is a Pink Floyd Tribute; Marko sings (just the lads on stage). I think you would find the Nightwish Movie "Imaginaerum" entertaining - dark, Tim Burton-ish. Music is a drug. Metal is Family.

Leaving aside the question of whether Nightwish is goth or not for some other time, you executed a most finestkind reactionalysis of this piece of music and I am pleased to be so satisfied so early. By early I am referring to the fact that I subscribed to your channel just one video before you announced your sabbatical. That was most disappointing but fortunately that didn’t last.
I must get something out of the way. Now, I do not mean to diminish your individuality by comparison but when I see you and, especially, when I hear you and your musical deconstructions, I cannot help but be reminded of Genesis P•Orridge and the decades that slough off of my perception of my age are not to be believed! Your intelligent sensitivity is refreshing, if I may be so bold, because I have definitely reached that point when I have more to look back on than to look forward to. That your presentation causes me to feel awash in echoes of past joys is most welcome, even if I associate them with the likes of Throbbing Gristle, Bauhaus or even Nurse With Wound. But I do ramble on; forgive me. I am verbose by nature which, I must admit, is of assistance in versification.

Health and Safety is different in the UK versus Germany... for instance in the Netherlands we don't bother when parking next to a canal. Britain has very strange rules, why does everything have a sign/warning attached to it? Maybe you are more like the USA, in order to not hurt your cat while drying it a magnetron oven it is strongly advised to not to do that....
