Hardcore servers have low spawn rate of vehicles on Hard-Core, before 0.85 wipe spawn rate was messed up that's why they wiped all bank accounts. With 0.9 they retained gold at least. it depends on the server you are playing on. I play on a server where you get 2k a piece of graphite and 3k for uranium

Graphite & Uranium are useless addition to the game, devs could have put more thought into it. You are far better off selling cars.
it's not useless, you make about 85k per run. Best way to make money fast. on some servers cars are rare so this is the better option
