Have you ever wondered if a certain building or facade in a theme park was actually based on a real place? Today we are visiting Universal Studios Florida to look a few buildings in the park that are in fact based on actually places! Let's take a closer look!
Hello and welcome to the World of Micah! I travel around filming everything and anything I find interesting -from theme parks to abandoned urban exploring. If you enjoy learning more about Disney history, tips & secrets or a fan of Walt Disney World nostalgia you have come to the right place. I also enjoy showing Universal Studios history and taking a look of what’s left of from classic attractions like JAWS and Back to the Future. More of an Urban Exploring fan? I travel around Central Florida and film everything from abandoned Toys “R” Us stores to abandoned attractions. I'm also a major Movie Buff! I have found the filming locations from such films as Edward Scissorhands, Halloween (1978) & Hocus Pocus!

Love the interesting factoids at universal Orlando! But the word antiquities is different from the word antiques . An-tiq-ui-ties is a time before the Middle Ages.
8:57 the original Penn Station head house was demolished years ago. Another building you may have heard of, Madison Square Garden, is there now.
Wow! Elvis had a concert there which is why I know about the Garden!
From my photo review and Dave Cobb podcast interview on 20th anniv MIB, there are three observation structures that look like flying saucers in New York Worlds fair. Because one of those saucers was partially launched by the alien bug guy, the two story top-most is gone at MIB ride entrance. The post that goes up is still there with top "torn" off. Both configurations are hard to see with one photo angle
Awesome video! This gives me things to look for when I go on vacation. The Ghostbusters building is “loosely” based off of FDNY Ladder 8 in NYC. 14 N Moore St. New York, NY.

Universal has a great NYC setting, but Disney Hollywood has a better LA setting!
I think they both have their flaws and high points! I love em both equally bc I feel like I’m on a real movie set

You probably already knew this but when Revenge of the Mummy was Kongfrontation it was Pennsylvania Station and also Jimmy Fallon does have that marquee in NYC
Knew about Fallon which is why I added the photo of the observation tower marquee. Unless you’re saying there is one of Fallon on top???

I’d love to go to Beefy King any day! Yeah it blew my mind too but thankful that MIB movie showed them in a scene which reminded me they were a real thing!
