- Here's a video of our first MT-09 turbo kit equipped bike being tuned on the dyno, As a comparison this bike made 131hp in stock form on this dyno.
Turbo kit available from our store www.extremecre...
Stock : wheelie
Turbo : backflip
Exacly
😁🤭
You need to be juvenile to even consider a wheelie.
@@worldhello1234 and really boring not to....
Fr my mt09 is my only vehicle.I ride the hell out of it everyday an the idea of that much power looks stupid. The bike will easily power wheelie in 2nd at 50 to 65 mph and can hold that wheelie up to 6th at speed stock. Still wanna get a turbo but i might just die.
Can we all just take a minute to admire that man's calves? And recommend tightening those rear straps a little?
You can clearly see when the turbo kicks in with this loosen straps
Read the pinned comment. The rear roller is un-loaded so the front roller takes the measurements. It's not designed for a motorcycle so this strapping is intentional.@@martinsosa3453
The dyno being used in this video is at a nearby automotive workshop, it's a car dyno with 4 rollers, the rear 2 are idlers which are only there to steady the vehicle, If you watch any video of a car being tuned on this type of dyno you will see they climb the front roller slightly during the run, while it's more exaggerated in this video its doing the same thing although being a car dyno it does read slightly differently to a bike dyno. The rear rollers drag up to 25hp out of the power figure. We mentioned the before figure so you can make your own judgements on what sort of increase we are seeing 207-131 = a 76hp gain, the math isn't that hard but a lot of people making comments don't seem to be able to wrap their heads around it. This video was made 5 years ago & we now have our own in house bike dyno that reads 10% lower than a dynojet ( which seems to be what everyone compares to) so a 115hp on Dynojet bike only reads 104hp on our dyno, now we get comments like why is it making so little power? Now because this is the internet & everyone is an expert on what is correct we always give before power figures so you can see what the gain is rather than just the outright number, we are not trying to cheat anyone by strapping the bike differently or whatever, We are making much more than this nowadays anyway & we take our bikes to the track to prove the numbers we are seeing on the dyno.
There is currently only about 40 of our MT09 turbo kits out there in the world so it's a very small market & we are cool with that.
top speed mt09 turbo ????
Strap your bike down better. Love the bike tho.
extcreat do u have to put better parts in the engine or can u turbocharged the the bike stock??
extcreat and what type of brake kit did he put on the bike
Goodnight brothers, MT 09 é Monsters d+ 🤜🤜🤜✊✊✊👏👏👏👍
That bike makes more power than my car
@@armazelfun yeah because Car is heavy u idiot , motorcycle just 2 wheel and make acceleration good

The rear brake caliper and bracket are insane.
Headed this direction with my Ninja. I'd like to come close to 60 HP when I'm done. Love this vid. 🏍️😁
131bhp from a stock MT-09? That has to be the most optimistic dyno in the world.
You’d be surprised
@@eriks87cam702 You are correct, I'd be hugely surprised. In stock form they consistently make around 110bhp. A decent exhaust, decat and remap will gain around 10bhp.
It seem like people don't understand how it's work.
If it's start with 130 and after - it's 207, that about 60% gain.
Mt09 have about 105 hp original so after the turbo it's about 160-170.
105? I guess around 115..
Mr M. 105 at the rear wheel not at the crank... you have loses like every car or bike
Well like everything else different dunes give different numbers, so one might show 105(though the bike is rated at 115 from factory)and one might show more. Moreover this bike has an aftermarket ecu, not stock so its possible they tightened up the tune and made more hp before adding the turbo. My only concern would be a lack of apparent intercooler but probably wouldn't be a problem as you're not at full throttle for very long usually
My bike makes 116 to the wheel with 73k miles
mine tuned is making 119hp at the wheel so if the loss to the wheel is 8% or 10% its close to 130hp at the crank
I'm a complete fan of this kit! really cool
Damn 200+ hp I'm sure this thing is a beast on the drag strip a stock Mt 09 already is but this, this is just mad
I can't wait till they tune up the r7
They already have. R7 engine same as MT07.
Man iys suprising there are so few tuners out there with so many experts on the internet 🤔
This is why I’m über excited for the R9.
Looks like an extended swingarm... since a stock MT/FZ 09 already power wheelies like crazy.
This isn't streetable. First pothole you hit, the oil line on the turbo is gone, and so is the engine.
[takes off glasses] Mother of God.
That bike sounds like a truck, insane, is a dream
What, 207 HP?
There's also a modified swingarm that isn't mentioned that I would think would be required for this turbo mod.
The hell is the deal with the 3 calipers on the rear brake?
+Tboninator That one is a stunt bike for the Australian Yamaha sponsored rider Dave McKenna
its all for fake style just like the fake hp numbers
Real fake. I'm sure it's all CGI ruclips.net/video/PaInuavW9tY/видео.html
@@doctorchuck14 why is that fake. A 1000cc bike can easily make 190hp so 190hp from a turbod 900 is easily capable.
@@doctorchuck14 AND THE GAYEST COMMENT AWARD GOES TO....
Lets boost everything. 192 really wakes that thing up! Sheesh
Absolute madness. And now I want one.
What do you mean by this statement > As a comparison this bike made 131hp in stock form on this dyno. < ? Before the turbo or after it was installed, if it was before the turbo, your dyno is not right by a large margin, close to 20 hp or so to much.
***** We use several different dynos & they all read differently. yes generally Dynojet inertia dynos read lower, although we prefer this style of brake dyno for tuning turbo bikes, this is why we mentioned the before figure (yes before turbo) so you can see the increase in power over stock.
extcreat Thats cool, just wanted to understand why there is more than even the factory says. Thank you for clearing that up. yl
***** every car or bikes has different hp, usually producer tries x amount of cars/bikes (of the same model) on the same dyno and the lowest hp is the one they advertise. No car/bike will ever be produced the EXACTLY same way as others of the same model.
Hthe problem with his hp numbers is that a dyno log will always be higher then say what a mustang dyno would say. But if it had 131 on that dyno then whatever it read after the turbo was put on is still gospel if it was run on the same dyno.
rickyf14 Sure, but you're not going to randomly have an engine making 20-30hp more than all the other ones. This is dyno error.
Pretty serious rear brake setup there!!
How on earth did the bike measure at 131hp in STOCK form??? Is this dyno at all reliable?
GI D these bikes don’t make that much power yet this company still advertisers 190 plus rear wheel
Hp. Having tuned one of these recently around a genuine 170 is max. The one I did made 164hp. Unfortunately EC advertise a false figure to sell the units.
flash
Well if the mechanic cant read the result ,it gets aload more horsepower.
Or he makes up a reading
Can’t wait for the mt-10 turbo
We've had a MT10 kit available for 3 years www.extremecreations.com.au/yamaha-mt10-fz10-turbo-kit
JEEZ Guys,That 3 Cylinder has MORE HP than a Standard NEW R1.
Awesome bike. Wish it was in my garage any day.
I spent a day with a turbo bike on a car dyno with it strapped down only on the front roller. Power numbers were obviously high which was confirmed with later runs on a dynojet dyno. Your credibility takes a hit in my eyes doing what you did. I have had a turbo bike for 40 years or so and built another more recently plus I’ve done thousands of runs with a number of other bikes so not just a keyboard warrior.
hello how are you greetings from Paraguay, a question will be that the turbo is going to do well to the Yamaha MT 03 too? And how many horsepower would the bike have?
At least you have a constant rear tire heater handy
is the engine stock ? or did you change crankshaft rods , pistons for the turbo or something else ? very nice !
That's a really sharp system
One for the fz07 now please:) I'll be the first customer!
That's awesome... That's backflip machine. Exacly!
Nice! Which intake air temp at full boost?

Worst mistake i made getting rid of my MT09! Il get another one, and il be purchasing this beautiful turbo kit when i do. Awsome!
I was worried the 2020 Mt-09 wouldnt get the Ice flow paint...im getting one and I want that paint
what are the actual dyno numbers using both rollers? thinking somewhere around 160?
Jonathon Vince yeah he cheated
Those crackles and pops tho. Damn. Great power. Shit👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 where are you guys based?
this is awesome keep up the good work
waiting for a 2023 xsr900/mt-09 turbo kit
How did this bike make 131whp stock? I don't want to call BS but these numbers might be inflated.
Thats one stunning looking turbo setup! :-D
You guys making a kit for the FZ-07/MT-07 in the future?
They do make the full turbo kit for the MT07, it was the first one they did then the MT09 and to be fair the mt07 kit is only £2200 without flash or tuning but you can start and ride the bike turbo fitted if your running a power commander.
I need this in my life
Now my thoughts, why this over say the FZ1? The R1 engine is a well built engine, and there have been quite a few bolt on turbos for the R1, so why isnt there more for the FZ1?
how many cm added to that modified swing arm? and is that an aftermarket swing arm or stock?
that's the first yamaha mt 09 to hit 200 hp yet
Great ! what is the top speed now?
is that an aftermarket swing arm or stock at 1:40 till end? and if it stock how many cm do you add to those swing arm?
Hello, the exauhst that comes with the kit does it have papers to be street legal, is it with db killer or not, asking because for some european countries it is a must be for registration?
How on god's green earth did it make 131 hp stock?!
The 2021 makes less than 120 hp stock.
It probably had a tune and few mods already
You guys still making them kits?
They fit an xsr 900 ?
www.extremecreations.com.au/yamaha-mt-09-turbo-kit
Yes , yes
Literalmente ese kit le subió 100 hp!!!!
The rear wheel needs to be rolling on both rollers for resistance or loaded down and kept on the one roller im sure ,i could be wrong and would really appreciate an answer or a new longer video showing and explaining why the bike is allowed to travell up the roller as im positive you would get a shit load of sales as i have looked at the price for full turbo kit without install [i would do my own] at a very reasonable price
See above
I wonder are you guys going to make a kit for the new yamaha fz10? People keep complaining how much hp it's got. But to be honest I just use my cbr125r to get to school, so I don't need alot of power lol. A turbo on my cbr125r might make it act like a slow 300cc lol XD
can the stock internals handle turbo?
The real question... How do you keep the front tire down?
With modified swingarm
+something1random23 ruclips.net/video/hDxDOEAJuLo/видео.html
That turbo oil feed line and oil pump looks very vounerable when placed like that. But nice power gain :p
I DONT THINK SO the STOCK NEW BIKE MAKES 115 so how is your dyno making 131 STOCK. Now i do know that on some engines from factory have a little more or a little less its all in the tolerances like blue-printing a race engine but thats a good 15HP more than stock can you please explain as i am very interested in buying the turbo kit for my soon to be 2019 MT07 which comes in 2 versions the 47-49HP restricted and the full power 75HP DE-RESTRICTED which i will be getting thanks SCOOBS UK .
Please read above
damn fine gentlemen congratulations
that bike is super fast in stock form, does it really need a turbo lol
what is the crazy stuff happening on the rear swingarm on the right hand side? looks like some cnc'd aluminium or something...
***** thanks man! love your videos btw (y)
Mt09 207 hp😳🔥
hay que hacer un kit turbo para mt 10, seria bestial.
I haven't been to all the comments, but were you able to get rid of the top speed limiter of the MT-09? I've seen in many places it's electronically limited to 225 km/h.
Clément Dutter Yes the Reflash gets rid of the limiter.
extcreat Thanks! Very impressive work :)
Is that car in the background just sitting on its brake rotors? lol
Sorry, I'm OCD. Awesome bike!
How much would this kit cost? And would it be simple enough for anyone to install?

O_o Parabéns, Mt-09 é a moto das motos. Com 200 cavalos então :O
Qual a durabilidade do motor com este kit turbo, ? se pode rodar regularmente ?
Parabéns pela moto e pelo vídeo.
Yes with regular oil changes & using good quality oil there's no reason wont last a long life. The highest octane (non ethanol) pump fuel is also required.
extcreat Thanks !
Great music, what is that?
What kinda turbo did you slap on her?? Asking for a friend lol
really you need to put on a 250i dyno, 131hp stock is a bit optimistic for base comparison.
Mark, yes every dyno will read different which is why we posted the stock hp so you can see the "difference" in hp which is more important than an overall number.
Fuck Ben how good does that sound!!!
Next up: S1000 RR turbo test ?
seeing as how dyno power is a formula of dyno roller weight times acceleration times acceleration. how about you tie it down properly and stop cheating your customers.
yeah. kinda lieing arnt they
You shouldnt take Dyno results that seriously, PERIOD...Dynos are for tuning, not benchmarking.
+Error01
Words of wisdom. The only thing a dyno is good for is showing a loss or gain in performance and even then you could argue the validity of results.
That falls under tuning my man.
What the extended swing arm necessary or just for cosmetics?
shorter wheelbase makes it easier to wheelie. they extend it to keep the power manageable.
If the sproket is smaller damn it will fly
I noticed in the first part of the video the bike had the stock swingarm and the turbo was extremely close to the rear wheel. With the temp of the turbo it would probably melt the rear tire. On the dyno I see a modified swingarm installed. Can you ride with a stock swingarm or is a modified swingarm required?
James Hargrove The kit is designed to work either with or without swingarm extensions, the closest part of the turbo to the tyre is the compressor housing (the cold side) & there's plenty of space between the hot side & the wheel for it not to affect the tyre temp. This is also with the wheel adjusted all the way forward & without anyone on the bike so the tyre will only move away from the housing during use.The only problem with using the stock swingarm length is how to keep the front wheel down :-).
Not too familiar with this particular bike....whats factory bhp?
Imagine how much torque is this bike
Same sound of old F1 turbo 👌
But how reliable is that at 190 and 207hp?
What about top speed figures??? Could u show us, pls????
How do you do with a 11.5:1 compression ratio ?
+michaelovitch Modern bike engines are different to cars as they are higher revving engines with smaller cylinders & produce peak torque higher in the rev range, with a correctly sized turbo this reduces the chances of detonation occurring & enables bikes to safely run higher compression ratios in boosted applications.

Thank you.

a serious question. Why dat Rear Brake set up
????????????
Tim Nikeee hand brake
Ben also makes parts for stunt bikes so it will probably be for a hand or finger operated rear brake for slow speed wheelie control
