This question is open to anyone reading this. We live in central Florida Kissimmee area. We have a Ricon lift S series private use on a van. The lift goes to the top, but will stay there. It falls back down like it's got a leak. There are no leaks. We think a valve is not working correctly. We found the manuals on the Internet for the lift, but we are having a terrible time trying to find the mechanic who knows Hydraulics to help us find the problem and fix it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to locate someone to help us fix this problem.
It might be that the down valve is sticking open a little bit. You could try to knock on it with a screwdriver. Also check that the manual release valve is not loose.
Any imfo on Honda Element with ramp? Checking hydraulic fluid?

The company that would work on this lift is in west Virginia. I am located in Florida and help my friend out with issues with the lift etc when I can.
