Beats Solo Buds last 18 HOURS - Really??

- Reviewing the Beats Solo Buds, true wireless earbuds boasting 18 hours of battery life per charge. However, while they're one of the best TWS in 2024 for battery life, the Beats Solo Buds can't be charged by the case unless it's plugged in. Plus, there's no ANC.

Bought these as I was fed up with my AirPods being so rubbish on calls. Absolutely blown away by them. Great sound quality, great fit, love the look and an actual button instead of touch which can be frustrating. Bass-heavy as you'd expect from Beats but that is my bag so that's fine. Would recommend. No I'm not Dr Dre, honest.
18 full hours yes, altho they are gay hours. Which is good cuz gay can mean happy.
I use my tws only 2-3hrs at a time so it'll last me at least a week. I don't mind plugging in to recharge but the sound quality of this Solo Buds is underwhelming. I'll stick with my Galaxy Buds FE.

Umm so you mean having to put the buds back to its case to charge every 6hrs is better than 18hrs of readily available battery in the buds? Other buds have 18-20hrs total battery life with the buds+case anyway.
i think i knew what they were doing but also not. I'm very frustrated with my 4-6h battery life buds and I hope this is the standard. However there's no ANC so the only way to cover up the sound is to crank up the volume. To make something this close with ANC is probably only with neckband earphones
This is a *fantastic* move, since continuous battery life is the most annoying thing with earbuds, ANC is near pointless (use comply foam tips if you really need to block noise), and ditching the case battery is one less point of failure. The other killer feature is that a USB dongle (like the sony inzone have) makes the connection the best you can achieve, which I guess these buds don't have.. maybe at least aptx adaptive or BT LE?
Thank you...finally someone who understands these earbuds. I own AirPods Pro 2 with all the fancy features but sometimes when you have a long day or traveling or a full 8 hours work shift...you don't want to worry about battery life. I see these as perfect backup earbuds that can also handle being a daily driver on long days

I've been spoiled by my Pixel Buds Pro and won't buy anything that doesn't get minimum 8 hours from the buds alone (with ANC off) and has a wireless charging case.
I recently switched from Pixel buds pro to airpods pro, battery life is quite good and the fit is perfect. Add the USB c port and I found the perfect earbuds
