I've seen people hit 100 before on these. They're quick and impressive for what they are. I love these bikes and they're price.
Yeh, they are impressive
ive hit 165kmh on mine on low fuel and im around 55kg its alot slower than my 125 sumo which goes around 170 and acelerates much quicker
@@hubertkam7647170 stock??
Love my GD250r and I also own a 2014 Ducati 899. I know it sounds crazy, but I usually throw my leg around the GD. Why? Because it's a badass little bike now! Aftermarket exhaust, lighter tires, rear set delete, egr delete, BMC air filter, fuel tuner, EBC sintered brakes...probably 340 wet, stupid light. It really rides it self now and I can rail it in the corners. It's really a mini RC 390. Purchased it stock OEM with 600 miles for $ 1600 bucks 😆😆😆
Sweet
@Mike Vick Craigslist, offerup, FB marketplace
Hey Jimmy, got an Instagram? Would love to see pics of that bike!
Man you got a great deal on your gd250 I'm buying mine today for $1300 with 50 miles on it. I also own a ZX10 and Gsxr1000 and I have a feeling I'll be riding my little gd250 alot more. My wife owns a R3 so I plan on racing my Queen and actually being able to enjoy cruising with her. Stay safe out there brother
good audio, good picture, one of the nicer GD250 videos.
Thank you
95 MPH / 153 KMPH
That’s really good for a 250
I expect it to hit around 100-105 max speed after it is fully broken in. But top speed and max speed are not exactly the same thing. Top speed is more of what you can expect it to run at any given try. Max speed is what you can hit on a long long flat road. But yes, 95 is really good for a 250cc.
R15 v3 gets 155+
That's a 155cc bike. Estimated top speed of about 85mph
@@MirrormaskMV take a look, a 155cc bike gets 158kmph, way better than your Korean junk ruclips.net/video/dqwLISTwSR0/видео.html
@@swarajroy5631 ''way better than your Korean junk'' talking like that i see the only junk, that would be you.. Hyosung are pretty good comparing that u could buy a 125 swap a 250 that is the same from exterior and do 180km/h and all that in my country for 1000 or even less euros.. do it with yamaha and gonna see how much the price would go up. And who would want a 155cc.. u need another driving license while 125cc u can go with car license after 3 years, and if u get the 35kw u just get 250cc+ bikes.
i like those bikes....a local motorcycle dealer has them on sale right now for 1991.00
Sweet price
Do they have a website dealership
Do they have a website?
Wondering if you still have the bike and how it been? I saw a 2017 with 11k miles for $1999 and thinking that's a great deal
Reviews I read about this bike say you have to really twist your wrist to get the throttle all the way open. Is that really the case? I'm considering one of these but info isn't as easy to find as the more mainstream bikes.
I would not say it’s a huge twist, I personally don’t ever have to adjust my grip to keep twisting to get to wide open
@@MirrormaskMV thanks. There are two of these near me. Both around $2400 which seems higher than some others have paid.
@@michaelsedler6524 Yeh depending on the area some find them for $2000, some for $2500. But even at $2500 it is a heck of a good price
@@MirrormaskMV it is for a new bike. I think my biggest worry is finding parts either oem or aftermarket.
@@michaelsedler6524 I can understand that. Alot of Hyosung owners gets their parts from www.hyosungwholesale.com/
Tested GD250N. Cool traffik killer
Yup, easy in traffic
Not bad for a 250..... do you downshift to come to a complete stop or do you just coast and downshift as u coast?
It depends. Most of the time I downshift, sometimes I just coast and drop down gears as I slow down, just incase I need to punch it, I will at least be in the gear I need to be in
@@MirrormaskMV thanks bro that answered my question
@@johnsportsco.2104 no problem
@@MirrormaskMV it also rev matches, so you can downshift without clutch
@@timothyfinn5533 yep, you can also rev match if that's your style of shifting.
95 MPH ain't bad but I don't think you can get over 100........ not on a single cylinder. And what you have there is indicated speed too, try it with GPS to get actual numbers. But 95 mph on a single cylinder 250 is pretty damn impressive I must say, if that speedometer is accurate.
For me, a person who weighs 185, nope, I won’t hit 100 on it, but if you were down around 145 I feel it could hit gps 100, but that’s on a flat with no headwind and plenty of room to wind it out. But it’s a 250 so it’s happy place is between 60-75
R15 v3 gets 155+
Any problems with the bike so far? Because I'm really lookn to get one!
It's been good so far
@@MirrormaskMV What site did you order from?
@@selfmadehooligans864 I bought mine at a dealership. Wow Motorsports in Ga
Not really looking to ride fast but for a first bike this seems good as I’m 6’3 about 210
I’m considering getting one for 2.6k as my first bike and keep it at my buddys just to ride here and there and honestly I think I will after this
looks best naked bike ever seen.Love hyosungs, that Vtwin is awsome in my 125 aquila. Not sure this one has same type engine too,but is quick enough to die on it😁
I got my GD250R up to 106mph before I ran out of room
106mph, nice!!
I went up 109miles per hour on mine. Then the numbers started flashing so I had to ease down. I weight only 124lbs. Maybe that was a factor on it as well.
@@moussaniang4445 Have you had any problems with the bike so far?
No you didnt
Did you ever end up upgrading the clutch? I hate having to use all four fingers every time I wanna change gears for mine.
No, I just got used to it. Doesn't bother me anymore
the clutch on these is very light my ducati has a hydraulic clutch and its much much heavier
I wanted to bite the bullet and get this as a commuter but I ended up settling for a 2015 Ninja 300. Got it for cheaper than one of these new. It's got 35k healthy miles on it.
Not bad. That means you got it for less than $2000, not a bad price at all. I had a ninja 250/500 and 600 in the past, you can't go wrong with a ninja. Before I got this I was also considering a ninja 300, a white one.
@@MirrormaskMV that's exactly what color mine is 🤣. Snatched it up for $1800
@@MotoMedicine904 Nice deal there
I Bought one from a guy that bought it as new old stock it only has 1700 miles on it. I saved up for a couple months just sucks because I don't have my motorcycle permit yet.
Congrats, hope you get your permit soon
Hey good buddy, do you have any problems with the thumper vibrating the screws and bolts loose? I have a 150cc chinese scoot and the fasteners are always coming loose haha
Thanks a bunch
Nothing wrong with mine. Korean is higher quality than Chinese.
Loctite
I have one and it develops 115 MPH
Where is this road???
Several people have asked me that. What is so interesting about this road lol?
@@MirrormaskMV many people don't have such straight roads with little to no traffic.
Yeh your right
The cop got you the thumbs up
I want this bike, but having second thoughts because of the price. Why is it so cheap?
Hyosung tried to break into the US market about 10 years ago and basically failed. So they are trying again, this time they are coming in with lower prices to try and compete. Not all of their bikes are priced so low, Most of their cruisers are around the $8000 mark, but their GD250R they are trying to sell at a really affordable price in hopes that people will give them a chance this time.
@@MirrormaskMV Thanks for the info. At first, I thought it was a bunch of cheap parts that had the price so low. I'm interested in the GD250R because it isn't too fast, it's stylish, and it's affordable. Has yours been giving you any problems lately? I really want to support Hyosung because the more brands out there, the better.
@@tonyhamilton7785 I have had zero problems with mine. Everything works on it and it starts up every time.
@@MirrormaskMV Hyosung GD250 it is 🤙
@@tonyhamilton7785 Awesome, I know you will like it. As soon as you get on it the first thing you will notice is that it is solid feeling. Not cheap feeling.
Why do US use miles per hour, while every other places in the world uses kilometers per hour.
Just the way it is I guess
Rumour has it, the spedo is inaccurate 🤣
I use app on my phone for more accurate gps speed readings
@@MirrormaskMV 😁👍
no match to ninja 400
It's not even in The same cc class
I have ridden it at 186km/h
Awesome, with mine not fully broken in, there is no way it could hit anything close to that
@@MirrormaskMV and one thing i totally forgot to tell you that my bike achieved that speed on stock exhaust
Top speed or max speed? I’ll be doing a video on that. Your comment reminded me that I should have talked about the difference between them in this video.
How..?
Mine does 160
Yeah I got a Gt250r 2007. Got it up to 170
