OK this comment just made me realize that ever since I started using RUclips premium despite my extremely sucky internet if connected to wifi my youtube doesn't buffer anymore (except in the car when I'm using data)

Sonic Generations is not a remaster. It just takes the basic style of the levels and goes nuts with it. The only stage remotely considered a "remaster" is rooftop run, which is still pretty different. The game is cheap af on a Steam on a sale (which is coming up in a week and half mind you).
As for Lost World, that's less of a spin-off than the story book series.

My theory is that there were so many conflicting glitches happening concurrently that they ended up canceling each other out.

Who says Unleashed ISN'T a main series title? Also Lost World is a main series title and in no way is Generations a remaster. Do you even know what those words mean?

Why not Sonic Heroes? It's available on PS2, PS3, Xbox, Gamecube, and Windows.
As someone who got all 130 Emblems in SADX and SADX being my most favorite Sonic game (SA2 and S3&K are gud two), I'm triggered at you playing Emerald Coast and not using the spam dash (that's what I call it since you can spam the action button to gain massive speed) and missing some skips you can do with the spin dash.

sonic generations wasn’t a remaster since the game as a whole was completely different for level design and story. Lost world was always a main series game according to Sega and the game was designed the way it is because they were trying to remove the boost in favor for lost worlds gameplay but because it failed, in forces they reverted back to the boost. Idk why you didn’t do the 360 version of unleashed instead of the wii one, because the 360 one was the main version and the wii version was designed as an alternate low budget version for people who didn’t have a ps3 or a 360 kinda like colors, generations, and lost world for ds. You had no excuse since you used a 360 for 06. If you were willing to spend 10 bucks you could get sonic heroes and shadow for the og Xbox and play them on the 360 (again since you used it for 06). Also you said shadow was a. Spinoff even though it’s main plot was considered canon and ties in with adventure 2 and heroes and plays just like a potential successor to heroes and works just like a sonic game -the guns. also the story book games were meant to be spinoffs that took advantage of the wii remote.
