As a young German I've been to India some 40 years ago when the country had already recovered at some degree from the sufferings of its colonial past. When I see videos like this one I am very happy that India is on its way into a bright future all by itself!
This was the most moving story I've ever been a part of telling! It was a true honour to help give it shape. Many, many congratulations to the entire gaur translocation team for pulling this onerous task off, and to Nishant and Himani for capturing and presenting with such visceral realism!
Wow, this documentary on the reintroduction of gaurs in Sanjay Tiger Reserve is truly inspiring! It’s amazing to see such magnificent giants returning to their natural habitat. The conservation efforts shown here highlight the importance of protecting our wildlife and ecosystems. Great job to everyone involved in this project!
Tearjerking, poignant, stirring. Reassuring. I could go on with the adjectives for this. Kudos to everyone who has pit their heart and mind into this sincerely, to move audiences viscerally. As Santosh’s partner in art and life, I am doubly proud of this and grateful that he got to be part of an important story.
Amazing... ❤ Bharat's commitment to nature and wildlife even with so much poverty and population is so just mind boggling.. Says a lot of people and our culture... Hope we protect our most precious thing which is our Natural biodiversity and pass on to our future generations...
This documentary is pure gold💚💚💚💚 WOW. Don't have words to express how nostalgic it would have been especially for the Veterans. Everything is breathtakingly heartwarming. All my Love to the entire team. 👏👏🙌💖
Fantastic ! Congratulations to Nishanth & Himani. The film Gaur: Return of the Giants brings to life the remarkable journey of reintroducing the Gaur, an integral megaherbivore, back to its native habitat in Sanjay Tiger Reserve. It highlights the ecological significance of Gaur, showcasing how their presence helps preserve the balance of the grasslands. Through the lens of this story, the film captures the dedication and perseverance of the team of officers and scientists, who are determined to overcome challenges and restore this keystone species to its rightful home, strengthening the region's biodiversity.
I love this video... Thanks to all members of the crew.. professional medical team.. and the wildlife conservation team for their hard work. Hi from Malaysia. We do have Gaur in our country too.
Fantastic video! The quality is top-notch, and the information on how Gaurs are being cared for is really insightful. Great job highlighting the importance of conservation!
Congratulations to the entire team for their exceptional work. The documentary was meticulously filmed, providing a comprehensive overview of the reintroduction and translocation process. The presentation of key details regarding the Gaur was particularly informative and well-articulated. The narrative effectively conveyed the journey of this majestic species, offering an immersive experience of the intricacies of its translocation and conservation.
Many Many Congratulations to entire team including Workers and Elephants. Hope they give chance to common people who is enthusiastic about wildlife conservation like me to be part of such efforts. Congratulations to MP forest department.
Commendable job by the conservation team.... really appreciate all the hard work, intelligence and more importantly the passion with which it is delivered...kudos forest team
Absolute _chads_ yeah, these people! Every single one of them. Putting in _real_ blood and sweat, suffering injuries, possibly life-threatening, dealing with fatal failures, weathering the elements. You need tremendous drive, mental toughness, training and patience to accomplish such critical projects. _These_ are the kinds of stories that should be shown when we talk about team-building, risk-taking and high-achievers. Also, what a truly majestic being the mighty Gaur is 😮!
I was waiting for a long time for this video and it was so worth the wait!!! Thank you MPTFS, great work as always! Hopefully, a lot more content to come.
Project of transporting the animals to there real natural habitat is too gracefull as I known l live near lonar wild life sanctuary the project of deer transporting was done. personally I have to become IFoS officer and now I am in clss 10 and my majour aim is to give back real legacy to large grass lands in my local districts in Maharashtra. Last thing to say - GREAT TEAMWORK by vanrakshaks, shooters and the pack of veterinary doctors.
I m in grade twelve and want to be in IFoS, I request you to not take any science streams as it is an overkill to join IFoS, it's tough. You can go with arts stream and pursue the following UGs.

Thank you for your kind words ....
People often critisize govt but we should applaud the work done by MP GOVT. In the field of animal protection and forest commendable hats off
When praise should be given it is nice to see it done. When gift screws up criticism has to be given. It doesn't have to be one or the other.
