Those paper cartridges. Felt. Beautiful. And the smell. Of the burned powder was something. You would always remember A video that’s worth doing thanks
One of my favorite things, walking the fields of my friends farm with my 1950's side by side a grandson and a few sandwiches in a bag on my back. Shooting a bunny or hare is just a bonus. Must get a single shot 410 the grandson is nearly old enough.
Great vid guys, I really enjoyed it. Looks like you copied some meat eater moves by cooking the meat etc n eating, quite enjoyable!! Love it guys, we do the same here in texas where we shoot ducks n geese and cook them outside.
Great video. I just bagged two Pheasants. I’m hunting near Reading, Pennsylvania, US. We are required to wear blaze orange for good reason. I think there were 40 men hunting in the fields today. Pheasants are stocked on the public gamelands. We must have a special permit for pheasant in addition to the hunting license, then another for ducks. Interesting differences.
@@tiernanwearen8096 I certainly do my friend, I remember my granddad making me get it ready for the oven also ...I miss him dearly as he would have loved getting out with me now ,ferreting, lamping etc.i still mooch the places he showed me as a child an the place he took me sneaking threw the woods to watch the pigs, badgers, in a massive set ,I now have had permission on for 16years. Mine an a friends dogs are buried on same land..
At last! Simplicity and some real pheasant hunting and not "shooting". Pure hunting feeling!
Wish I could do this everyday of my life instead of just weekends 🙇♂️
Great show chaps 👌
I'm an avid bird hunter watching videos all the time. Me watching this video on Christmas Eve has brought warmth to me heart.

Always a pleasure watching your videos.
Great video, one of my favourites on this channel. You can’t beat a bit of walked-up shooting with a SxS and a good dog.
Idyllic!! Looks amazing!!
Absolutely love this film! My wife and I have watched it several times and she chuckles every time he takes a hit of powder smoke.
Thanks
Lovely video, enjoyed that!
Now i know what to do on those lazy days, go out and get some pheasants and have a cookout. Damn that looked fun and delicious.
What a likeable fellow.
Love this type of video
The Smell of a freshly spent cartridge. Memories of my Father coming home after a days shooting. I was allowed to ‘clean’ the Double Barrelled, Watson
Proper shooting, by a real countryman,
Brilliant stuff 👏
What a great way to spend the day, superp👍👍

Cant beat it mate. All boys should enjoy the outdoors rather than them bloody TV games.
I'd recommend a junior 28 gauge over a 410, more pellets and will grow with him, loads from 14g to 28g
@@manofkentcatapultsgunsando5069 wish i could, no rabbits left due to that old myxomatosis
@@dermotmcgreevy5220 There be back mate,,,,,,always plenty of pigeons 💥

Superb! Nothing beats a bit of walked up!
Great stuff.
That feel of those varnished cardboard cases and the smell will stay with me forever.
Best way to shoot any game sod standing on a peg!!

@@gregorykammeyer765 no its clearly a working cocker
Extreme manly cooking channel, just put your food on a tree trunk , cook it in the forest
Thumbs Up for the meme.
Why shoot a squirrel?!?!?
They are invasive species in uk.
An they taste good.
Something wrong if you need showing how to shoot a pheasant, even worse needing to be shown how to eat it.
It’s just a video title, a better title might have been: walked up shooting - pheasant catch and cook
I realised that my friend it was just a little dig.🤪🤣🤣
@@leecoomber3877 you remember shooting your first pheasant?
