The rear diffuser is worth it if it provides the proper down force like the zl1 add on does at 75 mph....all the others that don't have the plate going to diff are for just looks but do break up some of the turbulence on back of vehicle.
Coming from an educated background, most of the AM diffusers for the challenger dont do a whole lot, car is barely designed to even incorporate a smooth flow of air under and out from the rear of the vehicle. The ZL1, or Downforce solutions combined with a underbody skid plate and some extending side skirts would trully suck the car to the asphalt.
Hello there, gotta say thank you for tutor. I used same method you used took off the rear valance. Easier than do it while it attached. But now the side clips won’t connect. Any tips how to? Since the bumper too weak, I pressed it, still won’t clip it
Hey Hunter, thank for watching! Glad we could help. We had the same problem with the old clips after taking them out. We went to AutoZone and bought a clip tray. We got something similar to this kit here - www.autozone.com/screws-pins-and-clips/tech-tray/p/dorman-autograde-push-in-and-screw-in-retainer-tech-tray-190-piece/32611_0_0?cmpid=PLA:US:EN:AD:NL:1000000:GEN:15795328932&gclid=Cj0KCQjw8_qRBhCXARIsAE2AtRaRjms8OYURtEfLhnfxa_HYRbILT5C8rN1paZL0KEb5x-EJQg1y2KIaAhRvEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
@@thebreaknecklife It was some plastic screws connected to the valance but I was able to get them out and get everything screwed on it looks super sick now
Where there's a will there's a way, BUT don't think it's worth the risk. Take the time to remove the piece and avoid potential issues from drilling it directly.
We definitely would advise to remove the bumper. We were considering being lazy and just attaching the diffusor while the bumper was on the car, but we decided it wasn't the smartest idea. You have to drill holes so better safe than sorry.
The black hardware came with the kit. We suggest you contact Authority Motorsport about it because we didn't choose a specific hardware but one kit still came with black hardware and the other came with stainless steel.
@@bertobecappin9552 hey Berto, you have to drill the holes out first with a drillbit and then you're able to screw everything on. Minute 4:15 on the video is when you can see us doing that.
We think we used either the 5/32 in or the 1/4 in. We'll add the link here to the exact kit that we bought. Our best advice would be to get your hands on the same kit or something similar and drill the hole with the smaller bit first. If the hole is too small you can always go up but you can't go back down if you make the hole too big from the start. www.autozone.com/cutting-drilling-scraping-and-splitting-hand-tools/drill-bit/p/surebilt-titanium-coated-left-hand-bit-set-5-piece/390938_0_0?cmpid=LIA:US:EN:AD:NL:1000000:TLS:8367255572&gclid=Cj0KCQiAnuGNBhCPARIsACbnLzoJRcswKBTns9bbYOKYvmAf1MbL4S6B4nTKc0AtMJAJAQa6Up7p2FoaAknxEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
A scat pack is the poor mans hellcat? What about the SRT 392 which was more expensive and has far better options than a scatpack from years 2015-2018? Bro I can get a hellcat for 50k right now. Matter of fact I’m scooping one up next month. Gtfoh with that poor man shit. Not everyone needs to own a hellcat in order to be apart of the muscle car community. Mopar kids are so toxic. If it ain’t a hellcat then it’s trash. 99 percent of the clientele for hellcats can’t even drive the damn things to their full potential yet feel superior to scat pack owners who CAN lol aside from my unnecessary rant, thanks for the video! I’m looking at buying these but I really don’t wanna drill into my bumper. Might use gorilla glue and hope for the best haha
Hey Andy, you neeed some sort of tack puller to remove the clips holding on the bumper, screwdriver, drill, soemthing to measure, and for the most part you should be good to go
Thanks for the tutorial! This helped a lot!
This video helped me 100%!! Thank yall boys for this! Now my whip looks sick!!!

On the purple car you forgot to lock the red tab in the parking sensor when you reinstalled the bumper at 4:50 in the video

Why did one hardware come black and one silver?
