@cmeakin31 Fractional A5, and with a reef in, it was pretty managable. We did spin out once, put it back up, and then spin out again shortly after. We were talking about re-hoisting when the puffs built to near 40, and that decided it for us...
Took the kite down when it blew consistently over 35. Look carefully - you'll see that once it got windy, EVERYONE is clipped in, even when lashing the mainsail down. This vid shows that an experienced and well-prepared crew and boat CAN handle those conditions without having any issues. This costs the taxpayer nothing.
Great video! If any boat here could be a nice ride in those conditions, it would be Icon. What a ride!
