@@garywilbert4519 Or transfer the bga chip. In which case I'd recommend you talk to your supplyer about getting screens with no new or dummy chip on them, just blank pads. If you use heat pad fist and then 138°C lowmelt and shield the display well when soldering the original chip on, then removing the new / dummy chip from the new display is by far the most risky part. If you can avoid this step completely by getting new screen with no chip, just blank pads, that minimizes the risk. The smallest risk is of course programming.
I’m here for getting more information about what the hell did they put in my IPhone 12 for 200 € . Noticed True Tone not copied, mentioned them, they told me next month they will have a new equipment. After one day I noticed that when scrolling or flip from one app to another it shadowing and letters are flooding with red mark. Now I have a poor display, no True Tone, claimed for another type as repair service guaranteed me to install a good quality oled. I’m near to 😭why I didn’t did on my own. My original display works, but don’t response to touch. Can be repaired ?

There are ghost touches only when the brightness is full. 2. 3D Touch doesn’t work in Lock Screen (the camera and flashlight) but works on the Home Screen. I have removed Face ID and ambient light sensors as they got Damaged when trying to move them to a new flex cable. Could that be causing the problem? What else could cause the problem?
@@phrg8332 it depends. for people whose eyes are sensitive, OLED’s PWM Dimming is completely unacceptable. Under this case, if you want the performance+a healthier display, swapping the original oled with an after-market DC-Dimming LCD is the only solution.
How to check if ur iphone screen is original apple oled display.. it has to pass this test. Download pure black wallpaper and go to gallery and open it… and turn the brightness all the way up if the display seems like it’s not even on at all that means u got a genuine Apple display:)
no lol. this video literally explained how you can buy aftermarket oled screens. only way to tell the difference is by opening it up if its done by a repair shop that can reprogam truetone. or if you dont have truetone. thats an easy indicator

Have you tried the GX? Does it have the pop up message?

Not really. The LCD will be built to compensate for the power difference.

it’s not going to fry anything. the lcd screens are specifically made for the iphone they’re going in. it will be a much worse experience though
