That pole looks even more bendy than Kenneth's yellow banana pole!! I like the idea of the swivel but doesn't look like the implementation is very good. Great to see a review that isn't singing a products praises.
@@squeakycleandave1 Honest review are what we all want, plus your personal opinion as that is valuable as well. Just watched your gloves review again, cheers.
Good review I held Ashley's one at the show he showed it to me but said he can only use it for 2 or 3 days he too said about turning it around it felt better upside down
Hi Dave, a couple of points, you can use other brushes with the pole and you can also use the other brush with a standard gooseneck. I’ve got the carbon 24K 20ft version and it’s very rigid. I’ve not experienced the problems with the brush/ rinsebar you have. I feel it’s a good alternative to my Ova8, good video though 👍🏻
Nice video Dave but I think the ova8 is for me. Been using the hi mod for two weeks nearly and loving it. Noticed a remarkable improvement in arm pain! Ova8 and xline brushes it's the future! 🤣
Great video Dave. I wouldn't buy the pole but I use the brush every day and it can easily be fitted to a normal pole ( See my RUclips vid.) But you definitely need to superglue the bumpers on.
I bought one, one year ago, i can’t work efficiently with it. I will buy an other one in full carbon may be ova8 or something like that but i didn’t know if i can keep and fit the Unger nlite brush on other carbon pole ? ( sorry for my sad english)
Hi Joshua. Your English is good. Yes you can fit Unger brushes to other poles. The have a Euro thread inside of them so you can screw them onto most goose necks.
I wouldn't get the Composite as it's floppy and heavy, but the 24K is much better. although it's a little heavy it's very high-quality carbon. The only downside is that the clips loosen off quite a lot but that's just a matter of tightening it with your fingers. (no tool needed)
Thanks for uploading Dave. Looks a clunky big brute! The pole that is 😊 It's a real pity, cause I love the look of that brush. Still the Phathom for me Dave .
Extremely heavy for an 18 foot pole wouldn’t like to use it all day Seems more flexible than a snake on crack Looks cheap there is better on the market for the same money Not for me
@@squeakycleandave1 I’ve done away with the ova8 gooseneck bits and replaced it with the phantom snap connector so I can use all brushes on all poles. Works a charm. 3-6 and 9 inch goosenecks all at my disposal too. 👍👍
I used to love Unger poles. Now they are grossly overpriced and the OEM brush fitment would annoy me. To gimmicky and I'm happier paying more for my OVA8 international kit

I just tried to be honest 👍

You have to go some to beat the ova 8 imo
I was going to purchase one of these, but after seeing your review and the flex in the pole, i won't now. A good honest video👍
The composite is very floppy but the full carbon is a completely different story being one of the stiffest we have tested on the Cleaning Guide
Nice review Dave, cheers 👍
My pleasure 👍
Great review
Thanks Dave, I was looking at one the other day,so I guess I’ll just keep saving for the ova8
Trust me, Ova8 is the best choice
Good choice 👍
Definitely the Ova8 mate,
Call ziggy and say Gordon at G71 said to call for a deal 👍🏻
Fair play to your honest review Dave
Thanks Barry 👍
@@squeakycleandave1 I liked the look of them, way to expensive though, advice from a seasoned pro stands out Dave, thanks
Seeing this bendy over complicated pole makes me appreciate gardiners simple but thought out design
Got to admit Gardiner getting it right for a long time now

It made my hand ache the correct way up

Great comments thanks Julian. I would like to get my hands on the 24k
So if you had to choose ov8 or unger ?? Cheers
@@michellenjohn123 I have both poles so I have the best of both worlds lol
Anyone know how to use an extension with this pole or what extension to use

I feel the same 👍
@@squeakycleandave1 Squickly clean it would be so brilliant if you would look into it From Stevie windows window cleaning services
Another great video, surprised that it was that bendy 😂
Think the main problem was it is the composite not full carbon
Great video Dave.

I will have a look at your video Tim. Interesting to see how you do it 👍
Good review Dave, looks like Unger have gone backwards with this rather than competing with ova8
They have tried but not quite got there
Completely disagree, I’ve got the 24K and an Ova8 and they are very similar, both are excellent poles….
It would be good if you can do a video On carbon Poles Gust coming off them Is there anything you can do
I will look into it 👍

Do you still find this pole a good fit one year on Dave. I'm hearing very mixed opinions on the Carbon 24k N-Lite

@@squeakycleandave1 Cheers Dave. I've ordered the Carbon 24k 👍
Hey Dave, what's you're favorite brush to work with?
For maintenance cleans I use the Gardiner 35cm Xtreme stiff sill brush and for everything else use a Gardiner 35cm Ultimate stiff
Good honest opinion Dave... it's definitely no 👍😂
Don’t want to upset anyone but have to be honest
Seems the ova8 is still the best pole on the market then, it’s going to take on hell of a pole to knock the ova8 off it’s first place spot
Definitely
Nice review Dave I’ll stick to my gardiner pole 👍
Thanks Wayne👍

🤣🤣🤣 I thought you were talking about me 👍
Did i mention i have an idea for a video review of ...........:)
Wouldn’t be about a Facebook moderator would it Bob 🤣
I do like your assessment that they have taken ideas from others and mingled them together, the clamp / lock for the swivel...Perry Tait?
The concept is good but they didn’t quite execute it
It does say Unger on the side, but it looks more like a Fisher-Price design - "My Very First Water Fed Pole" 😂
🤣🤣🤣 exactly
Extremely heavy for an 18 foot pole wouldn’t like to use it all day

Not for me
My thoughts exactly
Ive got the 20ft 24K and it’s as rigid as my HM Ova8 and it weighs 1099g…..
Bendy as a piece of wet spaghetti. It’s a no from me. I’ll stick with my ova8 22 hi mod. And my Phantom.
