  • In this first clean the windows are absolutely covered in birds mess from where swallows are nesting above. I use a Unger nLite Hybrid brush which is made up of wild boar bristle around the outside and man made synthetic bristles on the inside to give fantastic cleaning power.

I've always used the highest flow possible Dave. Keep telling other window cleaners to do the same but they just don't get it! I absolutely fly through my work . Thanks as always for the upload ☘️

Its definitely worth trying for a week or so to see the difference if they don't already do it 👍

What kind of jets would this be with? I like the 1.4mm but they do limit flow but increase pressure 👍🏻

      it depends on the cleans
i used to be a pump directly to battery with an on/off switch and absolutely rocked through work
i have a controller now and usually crank it higher than most but it is overkill on new windows that get cleaned every 4 weeks... plus it depends how much water you carry

I use the unger nlite brush as an everyday brush. Love the bristles but all sorts of problems otherwise. The rinse bar wears badly at the ends and splits. I've had 2x connections on the pencil jets snap. I love the swivel but the constant movement wears the joints quite badly so it becomes very slack and it can't be tightened. 3 in a year .
Looking at the xline dupont with the rinsebar in the middle of the brush.

Hi Dave, even better 1st cleans use a injector with vision in the canister, use the customers water supply and run off tap high flow, so you can go around the whole site in one hit, then come back and rinse with pure water 👍 much quicker and cleanses everything

I make them as perfect as possible =on first clean, ill unger rub out or pink stuff upvcs to take out greying, restore everything so it is ALWAYS perfect for YOU coming back making your job easier upon return. You also only have one chance to make a great lasting first impression. My work is super compact as often ill get neighbour recommendations, word of mouths, mentioned in residents groups and reviews. Noticed by neighbours watching me work. Somebody see me there for taking 30+ mins to do a first clean totally properly has made me off leaps and bounds. I dont now need to advertise or promote, new work finds every week now

Put the pole between your legs. It helps stabilise it. Also move closer to the house so that the pole is more upright and thus lighter.

Hi Dave, over here in Ireland. Love the videos. You did a video before about how you do first cleans and you mentioned UBIK 2000. And you were putting it on with the back pack. Don't you bother with that now? Is it just fairy on the brush every time? I've been using fairy on the brush for a while but I'd like to know your opinion as you've tried both options. Fairy seemed to work well.

    • @squeakycleandave1

It depends on the job. Most of the time it’s fairy on the brush. If it does need a chemical I use synergy pro from Pureseal now

Hey Dave, really enjoyed this video mate, very enjoyable to watch with loads of little tips too (Didn’t experience any sound issues either). Have you moved away from your Streamline in favour of this Unger pole now, just interested is all.
    Cheers, Dave.

Nice video Dave, I'm knackered just watching! Did you have a swivel on the brush?
I usually have a back pack with pole setup and fairy liquid in it for first cleans, keeps your rinsing down free from soap. Not sure if it's as quick?
How does the grip compare with ova8?
