I just tried mine out. I had it the compressor set to 60 and the regulator at 8psi. It shot out a burst of material and or water ever so often which was frustrating. This was the case with every cartridge and I used 5 of them. Any ideas on why that might be?
I have had that problem twice. Both times were months after creating this video. The first time it was an old cartridge (the cartridge material seemed to be a bit drier) (I have rent houses so, I only use it 1 or 2 a year). The second time, I believe I did not puncture the nozzle completely. To date, I have used 10 cartridges.
A cartridge is supposed to cover 40 to 100 sq. ft. I just did a small bathroom and used 3 cartridges. I believe that was about 60 sq. ft per cartridge. I am doing another on this week. The real savings is in time and considerably less cleanup. I only use it for small jobs. For larger ones I still use my hopper gun.
I did 142 sq. ft. of bathroom walls this evening and used 2 cartridges. So 71 sq. ft per cartridge. It was a very light pattern that I applied. I used 65 psi at the air compressor and 7 psi at the gun with the medium tip.
@@goblin103187 The cartridges are not refillable. They come in a box of 6 for around $69. More expensive than mix it yourself and less than the can stuff. The real value is in time saved and ease of use. I did the bathroom last night in 45 minutes from start of setup to the end of clean up.

I’m having the same issue. Did you ever figure out what the issue was?
How long does a cartridge last? How much coverage do you get with a cartridge spraying standard orange peel

@@mkccventuresllc is there any way to refill the cartridges or do you have to continually purchase new ones. And if so what do they cost.
Thank you
