The 2024 Kia Seltos undergoes a mild refresh featuring new interior technology and subtle exterior style modifications. Among the five Kia SUVs starting with the letter 'S', the Seltos stands out for its balanced size and style. While its external dimensions are slightly larger than the Kia Soul, the internal space remains similar. The base model comes with a naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine, delivering power and fuel efficiency up to 34 MPG on the highway, coupled with a CVT and front-wheel drive. Upper trims like the SX and X-line are equipped with all-wheel drive, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and a smaller turbocharged four-cylinder engine, boasting an increased output of 20 horsepower for 2024, totaling 195 horsepower and an equivalent amount of torque.

I have the 2023 Seltos and when the car salesman said “I got something that I think you’ll like”…they weren’t lying! I was planning on getting a SUV in my 40s (a Highlander or Telluride), but I couldn’t pass this beaut up after the test drive. I won’t be trading her in for a minute because I’ve gotten so attached to her. She handles really well on the road, so well that I forget I have a SUV sometimes 😅
Same I just got the 2024 and I’m in love it was between this and the Sportage but I’m so happy I went with the Seltos
I love this brown interior! It brightens up the interior a lot!

Alot of vehicles are setup with the cvt fwd platform but 195hp is resonable hp

I see there's some piano black plastic on the steering wheel, did you have issues with glare coming off of it?

I can see why this cuv is becoming very popular, it's a great overall vehicle.
We have this 2024 model and it does have wireless Apple CarPlay. It's great.
Wireless Apple car play come standard on the base lx trim.
What Honda are you talking about I have the 2022 hrv size speed and features don't compare with the KIA you get much much more for your money I like the Seltos KIA trim
Do you know how to turn on the honk/beep noise when locking the doors ? I've tried holding lock and unlock, and the holding the handle unlock and lock button. Nada. That is the only thing driving me crazy about the car but the rest is awesome. Drives really nice and I've had no problems
It should go ‘honk’ when you lock your doors. If it doesn’t it means one of the doors or trunk is still open or the remote needs a new battery.
does it have a back up camera?
Yes all models do

No LED headlights except in the top turbo trim...c'mon Kia...they should be standard equipment!

Does anyone know why KIA and Hyundai do not offer a wireless phone connection on the larger infotainment screens (while other car makers do)?
my grandfather has a kia seltos from 2 or 3 years ago and it has wireless aa/carplay so im surpised this one doesnt.
not sure what trim tho, probably a lower end
I have the 2023 with wireless Apple CarPlay. I have the basic trim so I don’t understand why the other trims don’t have it.

Yeah, um...and when I spoke to the Wichita dealer I was FLOORED when they quoted me a 30k plus price on a vehicle with a 24k sticker price!! I couldn't find such a price even on the Kia website for a 2 wheel drive Seltos EX!!! To add insult to injury the salesman began telling me I could save $750 ON MY CASH PURCHASE if I took a Kia loan and "just paid it off". I guess I look like a real dummy, but this fish didn't bite and promptly walked away. Is there an honest Kia dealer ANYWHERE?...Who actually is interested in making "a sales" more than committing hiway robbery?! I'm not impressed by Kia tactics at all.
As in Wichita Kansas? Got mine under MSRP in Dodge City.

I have noticed on every video I have seen of this car, the small shelf under the nav screen has lots of fingerprints on it. Why don't people just touch the screen and not stick their fingers on that self. Gross...

Unfortunately fuel economy is bad for a car this size much bigger Nissan Rogue has a much better fuel economy
Rogue has a CVT transmission and variable compression engine that make it more efficient but a lot of people don't like CVTs and the engine is much more complex with the mechanism for the variable compression.
Buy used.
