Great information guys, I’m sure a lot of folks will be able to use this information over the coming years. You did a great job summing up our 3 day journey in 5 minutes, even cooler you utilized the purple lizard map to show folks some of the best (and worst) spots of the trail. Also nice sticker 😅 hopefully cya this weekend!
I wish the video could’ve actually been 5 minutes. Actually the rendered file was 5:59 but RUclips says 6 minutes. I couldn’t bear to cut anymore from it, too much important information to go over!
Great idea for a video. Well done narration with perfectly spliced in videos. I thought for damn sure Rachel was going to say "I learned that I will never go backpacking with Walter Zolna again!" hahaha... You really showed yourself well here.
Haha I think she’d go backpacking again with you. We’d have all been singing your praise if that section of trail had been more rewarding. None of us really knew what it was going to be like, thus this video. I’m actually planning on doing some more videos like this in the future. Hopefully some short informative stuff promoting Pennsylvania.
These trips definitely take some effort to plan, I’m hoping this video helps somebody out there to have a better trip. Rachel seemed to enjoy the hike overall, we both did, it was a very beautiful place!
I enjoyed your review after watching the videos. It gave me a fantastic reference. It had meaning to me. Thanks. I have an editing question. You are filming yourself talking and then you show clips of your video while you are talking. How do you do that? Can anybody help me?
I’m using iMovie to edit, and this could be different with different software. There’s 2 options. The first, is to right click a clip and hit detach audio. Then you can drag the detached audio anywhere you want it. I’ve been doing this a lot in order to change scenes before the audio is done, it’s an easy way to shorten the video without loosing anything. Another option is to drag a clip on top of another. In this case you’ll get the audio from both clips. In some cases you’ll want to mute one or the other.
This is great video , shows the true challenges of the hike. The water crossing looks cold I am the bare feet guy, I take my boots off. It was a great hike, awesome wilderness that keeps changing.

My kinda video. Short and all about the planning and execution.
Great Stuff. Thanks for taking the time to do this quick Dolly Soda Guide.
I’m hoping to do some videos like this about things in PA. I think people could really benefit from this kind of information.
❤😊very well done! Wish I could go! 🎉😊❤❤
Thanks for watching! The nice thing is, there’s all these videos out there for those that can’t make the trip!

Well done. My thoughts exactly. This will help alot of people. One of the best adventures I have been on.
👍🙂🙏
It was a good trip and a good learning experience. My hope is to spread the experience to as many people as possible!
Enjoyed this one to see what your planning was like. I also liked hearing Rachel's favorite part and least favorite part.

It did look like a tough hike. What an accomplishment!
It wasn't easy, but we learned a lot, got to hand out with some great people, and it's an adventure we'll never forget!
I loved how you did this video, short and sweet with a lot of tips and Info!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!

Bare feet or Crocs is the way to go, should've mentioned that in the video. Yeah it's cold, but just have to go for it! Thanks for watching!
