Some monumental progress. When it’s mocked up to function even if without chrome and paint, it’s quite a step.

Haha awesome.. I’ll apologize now 😂🤓
Too cool hanging in the shop and watching you guys work
Looking good!!
Good job guys!
Awesome episode
I wanted to clone the T-Bucket from the Ventures in Space album cover. With two race cars, and a 39 Ford, street rod, I just couldn't get it going. This is a great project.
That’s a good one! And I pretty sure it’s still around. I always wanted to recreate that cover with Tpie :)
@@MADFABRICATORSTV I believe it was owned by Fred Steele at the time. My brother bought the album in 63, and still has it. Great tunes.
You're both real artists! Lucky- great work on fabbing-up that suicide front end spring perch, and great cinematography, Piero- I dug the 'Lucky's Speedshop' reflected in the puddle! Keep it up Boys- can't wait for the New Year and more CTAMB 2 Episodes!
Happy Holidays- Kevin
Thanks Kevin for the good words and the support!
Fantastic update, so many improvements, just keeps gettin' better. Thanks for the video, always fun to watch custom fabrication being done. Merry Christmas to you and Lucky!

Always worth the wait to see how the T is evolving. Another great "the Devil's in the Detail" video . If this is the last instalment for this year, wishing you all an early Happy Christmas from the UK 👍👍👍🇬🇧.
Thanks you Sir! And same
To you!!
Great work Lucky !!
Lucky is a patient man 😎 most shops would throw you out 😂
Haha Im not sure how to take that.. hah but he loves me at the shop cause I bring comic relief.
And let me add that my real job is to travel all over USA and go to peoples shops and it’s safe to say they welcome me with open arms haha

It's 2023..where are the new episodes? Love the series so far? Pls post some progress?
It looked better with the smaller front tire.
Can you ask Lucky where he got that lightning bolt stamp? I need one
He doesn’t remember. I’ve had it for a long time
@@luckyburton4787 I found one from Steel Stamps Inc that I’m going to give a try
Are you gonna be at Detroit next year at autorama?
Probably not.
Putting that much heat into steering arms, will it soften the metal?
Soften enough to bend it..
@@MADFABRICATORSTV obviously, what I meant was whether it affected the structural integrity of the steel.
Bitchin' 👍
What type of steering box are you using?
It’s an unknown Ross steering box. Maybe out of a tractor 🤷🏻♂️
@@MADFABRICATORSTV Thanks for the reply, I have never thought of using a tractor steering box. Did some research and you may have a ross Allis Chalmers B steering box. So the search is on for one for my T bucket project.
The steering arm got cut a fraction too long, resulting in unnecessary toe out. Due to welding the end solid, adjusting this toe needs twice the threads it would need, if both ends had mirrored threads. Also the end knuckle needs to be taken out for every adjustment resulting to excess wear. Although the mirror finish firewall looks pretty, it's going to get LOUD if no insulation (bitumin, rockwool) isn't inserted between those sheets. Bead patterns on sheets not only look "cool", but they dampen the drum echo while making the part stiffer. Instead of torturing your ears with sitting inside a megaphone, I'd suggest you look into bead patterns on stuctural panels and invest into some sound dampening materials. Basic rockwool is inflammable, relatively cheap and easy to install. Only downside is it traps moisture, so it needs saturation(tar&pitch) and ventilation. Also some baffling inside the headers/exhaust would keep the tinnitus away a little while and give the exhaust valves a bit more lifespan. I know it's not "cool" nor even "street-cred" to run muffled exhaust right beside your ear, but to get your girl to ride with you a full date-nite, I can assure you it will be worth the moronic shouts from fellow apes.
Woah.. that’s a lot of writing. Ha.. thanks for all the advice I appreciate it but we know what’s up. So Tie rod ends will be just fine they will only need adjustment a few times and will work great! The firewall will be sealed when final mount (still needs polish) as for putting beads in it maybe your not following that it’s a clone??? And it’s doesn’t have beads in it.. as for the exhaust again you must not be following along cause the last episode we show how we installed baffles in the exhaust.. Again thanks for the advice but we got this all figured out.
It would completely blow the originally so carefully crafted but I would have filled any unused holes of a steel T high firewall for factory beads. Chromed of course.
Needed to hear this 🙌!! The secret to success - *Promosm*!!!
