CLIP DESCRIPTION:
General Fenech (Mike Myers) gives Lt. Hicox (Michael Fassbender) a briefing on "the Basterds."
FILM DESCRIPTION:
A group of hardened Nazi killers stalk their prey in Nazi-occupied France as a Jewish cinema owner plots to take down top-ranking SS officers during the official premiere of a high-profile German propaganda film. As far as Lt. Aldo Raine (aka Aldo the Apache," Brad Pitt) -- is concerned, the only good Nazi is a dead Nazi. Raine's mission is to strike fear into the heart of Adolf Hitler by brutally murdering as many goose-steppers as possible, or die trying. In order to accomplish that goal, Lt. Raine recruits a ruthless team of cold-blooded killers known as "The Basterds" which includes baseball-bat-wielding Bostonian Sgt. Donnie Donowitz (aka "The Bear Jew," Eli Roth) and steely psychopath Sgt. Hugo Stiglitz (Til Schweiger), among others. When the Basterds' secret rendezvous with turncoat German actress Bridget von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger) goes awry, they learn that the Nazis will be staging the French premiere of "The Nation's Pride," a rousing propaganda film based on the exploits of German hero Fredrick Zoller (Daniel Brühl), at a modest theater owned by Jewish cinephile Shoshanna Dreyfus (Mélanie Laurent), posing as a Gentile after the brutal murder of her family by the ruthless Col. Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz). As the Basterds hatch an explosive plan to take out as many Nazis as possible at the premiere, they remain completely oblivious to the fact that Shoshanna, too, longs to bring the Third Reich to its knees, and that she's willing to sacrifice her beloved theater in the process.

Mike Myers in a Tarantino film. Now I've truly seen everything!
Had no idea that's Myers till someone pointed it out to me.
Michael Fassbender and Christoph Waltz las mejores actuaciones en Bastardos!
it would be funny if he suddenly says: YEAAAH BABY! YEAAAH!
lol "Ohh behave!" XD
Mike Myers in a Tarantino Film. YEAH BABY!!!
I kind of wished Mike Myers got a bigger part he was quite good in this scene
oh look austin powers.
I was so happy that they finally gave Mike Myers a good role. It is probably better it was a small role. He was still in hiding after The Love Guru!
Michael fassbender should play james bond
ruffy I think he’s a bit old
@Brandon Goodman oh I thought he was older
Before this clip I had a...Brad Pitt coffee ad...😂
I didn’t know it was Mike Meyers till the smile at the end😂
how did i never notice this when watching the film!!
How can you not see mike myer in there? :) he's awesome. Notice his name in the opening credits. Who else would he be? Thought he did great.
Holy Cow, can't believe that was Myers
Frightfully sorry old chap
I did not even know that was him - so good!
Thank God he pronounced 'kilometres' correctly.
The strange thing about this scene is the fact that a British General would never use metric at this time. Yet Mike Myers character does so, odd...
why not?
Britain uses the imperial system, with a few metric elements thrown in due to EU membership. However in the 1940's it was entirely imperial. He definitely would have used miles rather than kilometres.
@@IDontLiveTodayJH now that always confused me, can't be a simple mistake, there's gotta be a reason for that
@@juliansommer8600 Maybe they used km during WW2 due to their European allies. Just a guess.
Intellectual intrigue and mischief are QT's forte. That is probably why he attracts such a discerning following
"Groovy Baby!"
Its like he cant get out of the Austin Powers character...
DIDNT SEE THAT COMING, I DIDNT!!
He even apperaerd in Soccer 2012 :) I didn't know it was in the movie until I looked the ending credits.
both his parents are from liverpool! and hes canadian, which is an off shoot more so of britain. yes its closer to the us, but its got HUGE british ties.
I saw that... he was a decent player too!
disappointed the rendezvous scene was deleted. happens a lot in this and other films of qt's where they mention an upcoming scene- and its not there. in this film, there is a scene where they have a test screening, deleted. in django- they talk about going to a slavers market- and its in the script , where they go and inspect the slaves like meat- and they are handled and treated ass such- unfortunately it didn't make the cut either. funny- because in any case- his films are comparatively quite long anyway- but like qt himself- you get the sense he could go on filming forever, and talking film forever.
He still managed to play football in Soccer 2012.
MIke Myer's last 3 minute acting role in anything, where he was paid $195 for his time..before taxes.
whuu didn´t know that this was mike myers till now :o
holy shit i didnt know that was mike myers
Wow, I didn't know that was Mike.
Excellent.
@Tommonius Agreed and I'm seconding your post because I read/heard negative crap about Myers' performance that I felt was off the mark and unfair. Some thought it is silly or too campy. I think A) they were probably guilty of associating a talented actor w/ previous roles and thus were biased in their response to the Inglorious Basterd part. "It's Austin Powers!"
And B) feeling a character in Inglorious Basterds isn't played straight enough, or "realistic" enough if you like, is ridiculous
Austin Powers grandfather as Ed Fenech!
We will agree to disagree.
Mike Myers made a good effort but I must admit to British people including me, his accent sounded very strange and was littered with mispronunciations.
that'd be Rod Taylor mon ami ;)
mike myers is awesome
@jjzgamer not true he agreed to start filming on a new austin powers
can anyone tell me, who is the character in the piano?
I loved the Love Guru man... Shit. Time for rehab
Sir Winston Churchill.
did anyone think mike myers did i good job... i did not
@cesar celaya It's Whinston Churchill...
He was :)
tha bohstahds
@randa9711 That is why I said "was" in hiding. Apparently now he wants to dive headlong into the same old crap again. Sigh....maybe when Mike Meyers grows up he will want to become an actor.
World war ! Party time ! excellent !!
No one says “keelo metres” in the UK.. everyone still says miles.
Yeah but they probably only had maps pf France made by the French, who do measure lengths in kilometres.
You mean Wayne's World 3? :D
i hope we can also agree that i was joking
Now that we can both agree on :)
that clip is fucking reedited :(
I am a basterd
Excuse me but what is this video??😡
