Its a beast!
Use it everyday for food prep, at least, for a couple of months and let us know how the edge would hold. I've been using it for food prep for the last 3 years or more because food prep gives me the most opportunities to cut lots of things.

@@BLADESANDFADESOFFICIAL How is the edge retention in your experience? I have to sharpen every 2 to 3 weeks to keep it super sharp. It's still sharp after 3 weeks, but to get the special feeling of super sharp edge, I need to sharpen every 2 to 3 weeks.

Such a good knife. I have 2 choose 2 keep either my socom or spartan pallas. I went with the pallas. It was a really hard decision. As far as clips go,I love the clips microtech makes. The socom and L.U.D.T. both carried so good.
What is the #1 top scoring knife you have reviewed??
Ill check and get back to you, ive had several score 97, not sure if any scored above that. And keep in mind although I try to be as objective and unbiased as possible, the scores will inevitably reflect my preferences.
never had a tanto. How useful is it ? Use the tanto side often?
Its great! And its very useful and versatile! Its like having a wharncliffe (great utility) and also a spear point at the same time (great piercing or anything really) not really any limitations ive ran into. It might not be ideal food prep knife but for everything else it’s wonderful!
