i just realized jinx’s mental health got better after being with isha for a while so her hallucination slowly faded away, but now she kinda wants to have it back
Her hallucinations are tied to her self-worth. When she feels like she's "jinxing" people i.e. getting people killed, especailly those closest to her, her hallucinations pop up to remind her of how much of a Jinx she is. The reason why Silco might be silent is because despite "jinxing" him, Silco also happens to be the greatest source of affirmation: "Jinx is perfect". Something she's never heard before, not even from her own sister. And while she may have resigned herself to believing that she is a Jinx, Isha has kinda done nothing but prove the exact opposite of what Jinx is supposed to be. From Isha's perspective, she's been nothing but good luck. Now that Isha's dead, her voices will all come flooding back reminding her of how much of a Jinx she is. It may even prove too much for her and push her to suicide. She might even try to drown herself......then.........."Have you had enough?"
It hurts that in season 1 whenever her hallucinations of Mylo and Claggor showed up she was always telling them to go away. But here it seems like she actually wants to have hallucinations of Silco, even though she knows it wouldn't really be him.
been there, my husband shot himself and I have bipolar with psychotic features , for a year I was living with him, just like he wasnt dead at all but then my neighbours calld an emergency and in the hospital I got anti psychotics....didnt have him anymore after that and only then the grieving process started
You can see how badly Jinx wishes Silco was still around, especially now that she has Isha and is beginning to see things from his point of view. Just like Silco, she was willing to give up her pursuits for the sake of someone she cares about. Very heartbreaking scene.
Yes and I think Isha also healed Jinx's little sister syndrome because she finally stepped into big sister mode. She could see things from Vi's perspective, and also made her worry/care less about what Vi was up to (not really hating Caitlyn or not to the point of hallucinations and wanting to kill her) anymore.
@@darthnoir6370 Damn, man. You really had to drop that in. Gotta admit, I love the parallels jinx and silco had. Once you see jinx stepping into silco shoes from season 1 all the way to season 2. You could even say that season 1 episode 3 and season 2 episode 3 parallel each other of silco adopting jinx (hugging her) and jinx hugging isha during the blast in order to protect her which is the moment jinx officially adopted isha.
Also, as we saw with her scene with Sevika, she goes to his office "same time every day" to help him with the shimmer treatment for his eye. That might suggest she is still going to his office from that habit/routine even after his death
This is CRAZY good storytelling. She's still grieving Silco's loss, and I think that this scene is her making peace with the fact that her life is going to move on while his never will. Losing someone means that your life goes on without them, and that can feel like a betrayal. It can feel like, as long as you're stuck in the past, they aren't *really* gone. Jinx is being kept in the present through her connection with Isha, so she kind of has no choice but to face that emotion head-on.
Hell, you made me tear up.. damn.. it indeed feels like betrayal... the idea that we can live without the loved one(s) is so disturbing to me, i don't want that, specially for inseperable bonds... dammit..
The hardest thing... is when you say "I knew them for 'this many' years" and that number is maybe your own age. Then one day, you realise "I knew them for this many years" and the age.... gets higher. But the time you knew them for.... doesnt.
Silco and Jinx were so refreshing. Most villain dads dump their kids when their plans are threatened(even Thanos and Omni Man) and recently we see Carmine Falcone in the Penguin put his own daughter in prison. Silco gave up his dream of Zaun so Jinx can be free. He loved her more than he wanted his dream. Silco was a bad person there’s no doubt about that but he was a caring father. Jinx still mourning Silco shows how much she misses him. He was the only one who didn’t see Jinx as a failure and loved her for who she was
I don't see Silco as bad. I see him as a man who realized he had little in the way of options to free Zaun. He wasn't in it for the money and power, it was needed to get Zaun free. Sevinka realized it. That's why she stayed with him. She knew those who wanted to take Silco's place were in it for the money and power, not for Zaun. Piltover was never going to free Zaun without Silco's actions. He also wasn't willing to stay under boot with an understanding like Vander had started doing. He at least understood the reasoning of his old friend when it came his time to decide.
@@JoybuzzerX His methods were awful and there were definitely better ways to go about it and he was a control freak who set up a system that collapsed the moment he died. I personally think he had a very twisted vision of Zaun because of his concept of strength but he wasn't selfish. That's what makes him such a wonderful character. And his methods did work. He secured independence, he just couldn't give up his child. And ironically, despite that, Jinx became a symbol for the underground and will probably ultimately save it.
@@NoMustang273 His methods were awful, but they were the only options. He couldn't go with Ekko's idea, as they'd never find freedom from Piltover. And all the chem barrons were after personal power.
