I gotta make this short. In the early 90’s my dad had a 17.5 ft javlin, 150 evenrude with 175 carbs. Big boat in the early 90’s. Run 76-77 mph spent a lot of time messing with manual jack plate and props. Smoking folks in the red man series, guy says “you cant catch a fish running 75 mph,” my dad said says “no sir, cant catch one running 35 either” my dad became a savage that day!!!
Was that a idle speed area or a no wake zone..either way ..you should have just blown through. Because going through half cocked like that ,made more of a wake

You paid the money for it, so enjoy every time you blow by someone to the point it looks like they were stopped!Awesome ride. What is the top end? BTW, you could have pulled the last number and still come out in first place.. Maybe not the tournament, but definitely the hole shot and run! Enjoy!!!
For folks not aware these boats and drivers do this all the time you espicslly dont wamt your buddy fishing your fishing hole ........during a tournsment . so u better have a fast boat when their 100,000 grand or better on the line and u have to weigh in at a ceartain time ......

Jor Kar, if you dont know what the face shield is for you have never ridden in a bass boat or at least a fast one Hahaha! Try it sometime and you will figure it out in a hurry, you can't see or breathe at this kind of speed...This is a nice boat by the way!

The boat to my left was in the wrong and he apologized for it after the tournament. He lined up on the left and went right and cut infront of everyone. I was going straight.
But why were you at half plane if you were in that deep of water. Looks like your partner was looking for hazards. That's just plain dangerous, you could drop off throttle and throw him overboard. You would get a ticket here in KY. But, your boat, your partner. Lol
