Yeah my wife and I used points for another free flight and a free stay. check out pointsshark.com to see the strategy behind using points to save on vacation. its crazy how it works. we've got another free trip for v-day to secret's impression moxche. cant wait for that one! we save so much money that it makes it easier to do stuff like you said in the spa and other things. i did a 50 minute massage at the royalton and my wife did a pedicure. I think the total was around 180. she was in the actual spa but because the resort is new they didnt have the massage rooms ready so put me in a normal resort room converted for the massage. wasnt the best, but the massage was relaxing (sorry might be duplicate reply )
I think it would work, especially if you had extended family and friends coming with kids. But yes just know that everything is central to the pools. I didn't see anyone getting ready for a wedding when we were there but I'm sure they have info on where they put you. It possibly might not be very private if that's what you're looking for.

@kyle ok I've stayed at Royalton's before and LOVE their cabanas because of the service. Glad to see them by the pool because the beach doesn't look that desirable at the moment. What came with that option? Did you still get a waiter?
yes actually we were very impressed. had 4 dedicated waiters for the 5 cabanas. one of the days we were the only ones in the cabana. They were great. We ordered guac and chips first day and we were wondering what was taking so long... they came back with a huge bowl of handmade guac and chips and said they had it made fresh for us! It was the best! The other more expensive options included some things like champaign I think. We saved the extra cost and spent it at the spa!!!

No we didn't see anyone fishing from the beach. I understand you can charter fishing in the area though
Would it be strange for someone to get married here? Does it look like a gigantic water park? Looking to book my wedding June 2024.
