Ronin literally made him lose his ability to speak, therefore ask for help, and then shut down his defences, and then made him unable to move, before turning him off altogether. That’s honestly pretty terrifying to think about. Like, imagine that happening to you.
I feel like because he’s a robot and can probably be repaired faster than the other ninja can heal, he just gets battered constantly for plot purposes 😆

There's a fight in a jail in which you're in without any weapons. You get separated from your friends and some creppy man who had his eye on you from start catches you. He pins you down to the floor somewhere else, takes your shirt off and starts to slowly take you apart and mess with all of your systems. 0_0.
Why has Zane basically become the punching bag of the ninja team, he gets shut down or hurt more than any of the others, give the poor guy a break, he’s the guy who defeated the overlord in season 3 give him a bit more respect
Though he still does deserve some respect. After all, he did single handedly defeat the overlord in s3 and that’s pretty impressive considering Lloyd was the only one to do it till after s2.
