Bro i have a choice between rx7800xt or rx7900 gre now the nitro rx7800xt is a premium card for $550 and the rx7900 gre is a gigabyte which i read has coil wine ... and its $550
Great card. Just did a fresh build in a thermaltake tower200 my first amd card. So far good. Good value compared to rtx 4070 super.

Any noticeable coil whine
Mine does. But not when playing under 120fps. High fps brings it out.

@@moasto02how loud is it like 1-10? And can you hear it with headphones on?
@s9ully its not bad. Headphones should cover it up. Like a 4 maybe, if its on your desk next to you. I figured out that my PSU was actually contributing a lot more coil noise than the card.

No I have a chimney PC case so my motherboard is in the middle of the case. It doesn't mount to the back end. Most cards are then held up with the GPU mount and a motherboard mount.

GRE needs a real discount and a $500 price tag but the "power consumption @ video playback" worries me more... 65W is NOT understandable on watching RUclips ! 🤔
