Hi. I'm enjoying your videos and thanks for good Kayak fishing and camping place information. As I'm a Korean, it is my pleasure watching you and your korean wife having a happy life makes me feel happy. Keeping it up guys !
You guys make a cool couple. Love fresh sashimi. We were given some Salmon today I noticed it was $50 a kg! The highest I have seen. Great video thanks guys.
Next time to should try fishing over the hill at Whangaruru where you were going to spear fish. We’ve caught a few 20pd plus snappers surfcasting there. We have a caravan at Bland Bay and love it up there
Great video guys! Love seeing more of Hatian (sorry spelling) - felt like watching a solid complete little adventure. Also great info about the place. Great underwater footage etc. Well done guys ❤️
Nice video mate. I was at bland bay for 4 days last weekend and had a great time. One of my friends caught an 83cm snap. I went to Ti Point yesterday too and had a really awesome fish.
I love it how your wife shares the same passion and excitement...How do you spell your wife's name? May be one day you both will have a small boat or 2 kayaks. I live near the Ocean Whangamata eating sweet chili snapper.
Hi Jason. Her name is spelled Hyeshin. Quite difficult to remember, haha. Might get a small boat at some stage if I can add an electric outboard and if it's small enough for travelling. Something like a nifty boat comes to mind or a taka cat.
@@Fishingreminder makes it easy to see the spelling thanks. I had a nifty boat. I had a bad accident long story but if I had the outboard kill switch tied to me I would of been better off. I have a larger boat though 6.2M I like the adventures you both have some great locations to relax.
@@Fishingreminder I do like them but for 1 person you need a extension on the outboard throttle but if Hysain sits up the front perfect for both of you I went out in a lumpy sea. I saw a chop coming my way with a deep trough. It threw me off like a trampoline. I was not tied to the kill switch so I had to swim in I ended up loosing my boat and I had to walk over the rocks and on to a farm. Handy boat but just tie on to the kill switch and look out for the chop

The 20m foul inside danger rock produces some decent fish.
yeah, danger rock is good. Unfortunately, my knee gave out on me so couldn't go so far this time. Bloody old age. Next time.
Thankyou for the cool videos you guys. You both seem like a lovely couple exploring the country together. The good life!
Thanks for the nice feedback Mike, much appreciated.

Nice, the perfect place to have a caravan :) Yeah hopefully my knee won't play up next time so that I can make it over the hill, haha
I usedto live at Whangaruru at The Farm, there's some fantastic fishing along that section of coast. My biggest Snapper was 29lb! Huge great thing
O man, what a place to live. I bet you have tons of good memories from that time.
@@Fishingreminder I certainly do. Lots of fishy memories too. Just north of the farm there's some great fishing spots.

Awesome! Did you fish land-based at Ti Point or from the kayak?
@@Fishingreminder I bought a smartwave 3500 and it was our maiden voyage, We got some massive kahawai, snapper and trevs
@@Robonza awesome, I had a look - this boat looks like a mean fishing machine
Great vid guys. Keep it up! My fav Korean food is bulgogi. Lol
Haha, good choice! My favourite is Korean pork bone soup :) Have you tried?
Do you cook it yourself?
Well I cooked it myself when I went to a restaurant in Seoul, but don't think that counts. Lol, Pork bone soup is amazing. 👌
@@Sacrederb Probably better to get Bulgogi from a restaurant if you are already in Seoul! Right? Cheaper and tastier perhaps ^^
🤣🤣🤣🤣 don't talk so much just catch fish. This was a cool video guys 너무 좋아요
haha, yeah that was quite funny, eh
@@Fishingreminder Are you sure? its funny for YOU?? 😛
We should meet up for bottles of Soju together, someday!! WIth sashimi!!
@@walkintomydream7208 haha it was!! And yea we should

Sorry to hear about the accident. Did you like the Nifty overall or was it a bit too unstable?

Orcas come into the harbour feasting on stingrays sometimes
yeah and apparently quite a few sharks like to come in there as well :)
I bet they do.
I could tell you somewhere better with free camping and massive fish (snapper, kingfish, giant trevally) 150m paddle..
I think I know the spot you're talking about 😆
