My favorite line out of all of Tarantino's films is when Dr Schultz says Auf Wiedersehen right before blowing up the KKK. Just how nonchalantly he says it right before a big ass explosion happens makes my hairs stand up.
Mine is from “Death-Proof”: “Hey Pam! Remember when I said this car was death-proof? Well that wasn’t a lie. The only way to get the benefit of it, honey... you really need to be sittin’ in my seat!” Favorite kill as well.
Personal favourite, O-Ren Ishii decapitating the guy's head in the meeting in Kill Bill Vol. 1, not necessarily for the death itself but the speech afterwards and the "Now if any of you fuckers got anything else left to say, NOW'S THE FUCKING TIME!!!!.....I didn't think so" *drops head*
+Jorad Mace Indeed it is. Many people say it's Tarantino';s worst movie. But to be honest, I remember hell of a lot more about what happened in that than Jackie Brown which to me says something about which is better.
MinimiMax Yes, I believe it's a masterpiece of cinematografy, stunts and acting... way better than kill bill 1 in my opinion. Anyway, any movie by Tarantino is a great movie :)
+Jorad Mace I completely agree, maybe it's just because of my love for grindhouse, car stunts, Kurt Russell and horror films, but Death Proof is one of my all-time favourites and i love Mike's character. I hope that they go the way of most 70's and 80's horror and make sequels, I'd sure as hell keep watching! :D
I thought that the guy played by Tarantino in Django Unchained would be mentioned because . . . . . . I don't know, there's something about Tarantino himself dying in his own movie that's . . . . . . . . . kinda memorable to say the least
@ fightingtiger2007: Yeah definitely, that was the most satisfying death in a tarantino movie, it was a great dance! Jennifer jason leigh got an oscar nomination for her role!
+Jacob Horton-Scarfield i think hes talking about the scene follow the real standoff were mr white holds the gun to mr orange head when the cops finally bust in...that being said for all we know mr pink("the bankrobber") got away
+jakob weaver Actually Pink gets caught and arrested at the end of Reservoir Dogs. Turn up the volume, you can clearly hear Pink saying "Don't shoot I've been shot God dammit!" then you hear the police saying to him "Are you a cop killer? Are you a fucking cop killer?"
Her death was better than all of the Jackie Brown deaths combined. But to be fair, there were a ton of Kill Bill death that could’ve eaten majority of the list. Every death was unique.
+Richard Williams And I don't even care! I like how I can watch Tarantino's movies even after I know what happens! :D I must have watched Kill Bill, Inglorious Basterds and Pulp Fiction at least 10 times each... Each view is as exiting as the first time I watched it :D
In case you were wondering how the Mojoholics voted in our poll, see the votes and entries here: www.watchmojo.com/suggest/Top+10+Quentin+Tarantino+Movie+Deaths Note, of course, that viewer votes are just one of the hundreds of data points and variables that we consider and look at when we create our lists. I thought there would've been a mention for Tarantino's death by dynamite at the end of Django Unchained, or even the final standoff/shootout at the end of Reservoir Dogs. Pretty solid list though, but Bill should be top 5.
Anyone else just have a feeling that Marvin was gonna get shot in that scene when they first watched pulp fiction, or was it just me? Probably the least surprising kill. In fact, that many people in Tarantino's films die, i'm expecting everyone to get killed at some point haha
+Ashton Morris BUUUUT, if you watch the credits where it shows her driving, there's a question mark when it shows Elle's name, so it's unknown if she is alive or dead. Unless we ever get a Vol. 3 for some reason, he probably did it to keep everyone guessing.
+Ashton Morris She probably die since if you remember there was a real poisonous Black Mamba. She's probably got bitten by it or die on starvation since she's completely blinds.
+Michael Wright She's supposed to be alive, and is set to appear in Vol. 3 and Vol. 4... assuming Tarantino ever decides to actually make them. The plot for the sequels is supposed to be that Nikki is trained by a blind Elle and one-armed Sofie Fatale to get revenge on Beatrix. I wouldn't be surprised if a blind Elle wound up being Tarantino's way to pay tribute to the Zatoichi movies.
This list should be called Tarantino's "Most Iconic" deaths. In reality, I think Bill's death tops them all. It was extremely emotional and touching, and it brought a satisfying end to a 4 hour-long epic.
Maynard and Zed (if Zed counts). One of the best QT scenes of all time when Butch kills Maynard with the pawned samurai sword, and Marcelles Wallace proclaims he will torture Zed to death. He might be able to be counted as a QT death if you mark the moment of his death when Butch states "Zed's dead, baby. Zed's dead."
Daisy Domergue from The Hateful Eight (man that was satisfying on many ends) and most recently the members of the Manson family from Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
@@rockgod6180 But soo amazing to watch... I have watched that scene like 20 times and I always laugh at the way Cliff just smashes the head of that red haired girl
Well it is a real passage, little bit paraphrased, and of course Samuel's version is much longer. The original verse is only this: Ezekiel 25:17 'And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.'
Great list, I love me some QT! I can't wait for The Hateful Eight. I think Orin Ishii should of been on here, she was freaking scalped! The best and craziest deaths are Bill's (I just wish it was a longer fight, I was kind of disappointed by it when I first saw it. I was expecting more but it's great she used the five point palm exploding heart technique on him) Calvin Candie, the girls death in Death Proof (Damn it's so violent, the worst is that girl's leg falling off) and Marvin. When I first saw Pulp Fiction I was lmao when that happened.
Even though we don't "see" Elle's death. I think it's easy to assume she didn't make it. That was an amazing scene. Should have made the list at some point.
Favorite line out of all of Tarantino's films: "ah man I shot Marvin in the face."
Mine as well.
Yeah same
Which movie dis from again?
This video reminded me how fucking unbelievable it is that all these films were made by just one director; this man is truly unrivaled in Hollywood.
I laughed so hard at Marvin's death the first time I saw it.
Same here
I think everybody did
he's samurai jack
Disturbing how sick people exist.
Warden of the North Pussy!!!
It's bad to be a Vega in a Tarantino film...
I don't quite agree as they get easy death.
+Reece Wilkins I wanted that to be number 1.
Quote that shit every time i watch it. One of my favorite parts
same with me
+Reece Wilkins XD
+Reece Wilkins Hell yeah
Tarantino is one of the best directors of all time , Pulp Fiction is easily one of the best movies ever made.
I AGREE! It's definitely my favorite movie, it's not the most flashy or captivating but the genius of it is undeniable
+Jim Bob i also think the scene when Jules start to talk in front of Bret is the most memorable scene in history of cinema
+Gani Ibraimi yeah that was awesome. I also really enjoyed the diner robbery scene
+Jim Bob great one. i loved it " i shot Marvin in the face " lol
+Gani Ibraimi I agree!
Can't wait for The Hateful Eight...
Too bad Christoph Waltz isn't in it, though. :(
How is bill number 9? His death was the epitome of the film volumes.
+Joetothe Flow It was kinda anti climactic.
+Steve Hillier cause Jackie brown isn't
unpopular
+Steve Hillier Uh, I don't think Kill Bill is less popular than Death Proof.
I really hope Beatrix will kill him with her katana but the five palm explosion is enough for him.
Bill's was good but Marvin's was way better
All deaths in Tarantino films are worthy of being on a list.
This category needs another top 10 list!
+theepicpebble99 Maybe even two more!
+GELSPRG Or three!
+GELSPRG Or three!
+JackTheCoookie OR FOUR!!
theepicpebble99 Yes
Death Proof is so underrated...
+Jorad Mace Indeed it is. Many people say it's Tarantino';s worst movie. But to be honest, I remember hell of a lot more about what happened in that than Jackie Brown which to me says something about which is better.
MinimiMax
Yes, I believe it's a masterpiece of cinematografy, stunts and acting... way better than kill bill 1 in my opinion.
Mattia Ponzo yes it is
The Nova had the charger were badass
Before watching this, #1 should be Marvin in Pulp Fiction
+James D yay!!!!!!
+James D haha, you called it. It is however a pretty easy guess.
ummmmm..how were you right when number one was from resevoir dogs?
it wasnt? u blind?
James D you gotta have an opinion...do you think that God came down from heaven and stopp...oh man, I think I shot Marvin in the face
I thought that the guy played by Tarantino in Django Unchained would be mentioned because . . . . . . I don't know, there's something about Tarantino himself dying in his own movie that's . . . . . . . . . kinda memorable to say the least
don't worry. The police unions of America have threatened Tarentino with a "surprise" in the next few weeks so you might get your wish in the news
+MrManowar6 Actually it's one of my favorite deaths because of the factor "OMG! THAS WAS FUCKING AWESOME" maybe #3-4 for me :D
+MrManowar6 In Reservoir Dogs as well...
His death is too hilarious and stupid anyway in Django. He was wearing a belt full of dynamite, of course it would make himself get killed so easily.
Or Tarantino getting sculped :D
Bill should be much higher on the list, like if you agree.
I thought it would be number 1
I thought it would be number 1
Michael Saba same
Totally!
Bill didn't die
Very unpleased that Bill wasn't put higher
Because it wasn't filled to the brim with blood and gore. But yes it should be much higher.
Christopher Beytia Frentzel nah Bill and the Kill Bill series were both super dumb
How the hell was the inglorious basterds bar shooting scene not on the list and how was the baseball bat kill only an honourable mention
Same video that had the death of Bill on a list of shocking and surprising deaths when the movie he’s in is literally called Kill Bill.
Make the list again now that Hateful 8 is out ....
Daisy's hanging would be number one.
@ fightingtiger2007: Yeah definitely, that was the most satisfying death in a tarantino movie, it was a great dance! Jennifer jason leigh got an oscar nomination for her role!
Bruce Calder YESS
Hateful 8 wont change anything. That movie blew. The absolute worst
looks like someone wanted a michael bay movie.
How was Mr. Blond only an honorable mention? I figured that'd have been top 3 material.
My personal favorite death in any Tarantino movie ever, is Miss Laura from Django Unchained.
JMaxAG I said... Say good bye to Miss Laura.
Oscar Maidana “bye miss Laura “
JMaxAG The way she flew back always gets me 😂
@@MiguelAngeloChs right🤣
how was the standoff with the bank robber, the cop, and the undercover cop at the end of Reservoir Dogs not even mentioned?
+Owen White You mean an undercover cop, two crime lords and a bank robber? But yeah good point.
+Jacob Horton-Scarfield i think hes talking about the scene follow the real standoff were mr white holds the gun to mr orange head when the cops finally bust in...that being said for all we know mr pink("the bankrobber") got away
Well that would makes more sense.
I wonder... why would somebody dislike this video? One of WM's best.
not even an honorable mention for o-ren??
oren ishi's death was also cool. should have been in the list.
Her death was better than all of the Jackie Brown deaths combined. But to be fair, there were a ton of Kill Bill death that could’ve eaten majority of the list. Every death was unique.
Brett should be number one as that's probably the most famous scene of all of his movies.
Gotta love how at 13:25 they show a guy's head getting blown off, and then one second later bleep "fuck." Censorship at its finest.
Tarantino's films are gifts from God Almighty to humanity. Thank you for all these awesome movies Quentin, living Legend.
They're gifts from QT, not God, lol.
+Clint Bandura haha Quentins a qt
+Clint Bandura haha Quentins a qt
"I'm sorry. I couldn't resist." - one of my favourite movie lines
That death proof ending still cracks me up every time.
Best modern Director.
I don't mind ads.
I don't mind buffer.
But when the ads buffer
I suffer
I can't believe this, Watchmojo is in HD! But it's visible now!
I think we are going to need another list on this topic.
Best top 10 by far, great job ;)
0:17 "Say 'Auf Wedershen' to your Nazi balls!"
This list needs to be updated with once upon a time in Hollywood having the deaths in it at number 3 at least
Bill should be 1!!
+Peter Jason Quill i thought that was the most anti climatic death ever after 2 epic movies
Vol.2 grew on me overtime. I now thinks it's one of his best films but was disappointed when I first saw it.
YES!
Peter Jason Quill Aye definitely better on 2nd viewing without the hype
+Peter Jason Quill nah
Bill will always be number one. It's the moment of both volumes. Incredibly emotional and such a relief
How come this new narrator guy sounds like he's chocking every time he try to spell out a sentence.
I know right?
+jassboom He does. LIKE. To Emphasize. RANDOM. Syllables. ;~)
I automatically dislike every video he narrates. Just not a fan.
+jassboom Where is the female voice? She IS watchmojo
+joshjhutton me too!!!
Good timing for this list! I just started watching Tarantino films these past two weeks. So far, I've seen Django Unchained and Pulp Fiction.
This video is RIPE with spoilers.
+Richard Williams That's why we put a spoiler warning.
Signed,
Kg
+Richard Williams no shit ! they said so at the beginning
+Richard Williams And I don't even care! I like how I can watch Tarantino's movies even after I know what happens! :D I must have watched Kill Bill, Inglorious Basterds and Pulp Fiction at least 10 times each... Each view is as exiting as the first time I watched it :D
WatchMojo.com Well obviously. That wasn't the point of my comment lol. Love you guys!
+Richard Williams so there is people who have not seen those movies?
Finally a great watchmojo list.
Bill should be top 5
"you probably went over a bump or something"
lol that line still gets me xD
Where's the crazy 88 massacre scene
Definitely gonna need to revisit this one after The Hateful Eight. That movie had some pretty brutal deaths!
I thought "Everyone" from Reservoir Dogs would be number 1 or even on the list
Awesome list :)
My favorite scene was the bar shootout in Inglorious Bastards
Gotta love how they gave a content warning only after they already showed violence
Bill death should be num 1.
also, where is Mr white and Orange death? :(
Sebastian Kaplan lmao exactly. Apparently watch mojo just needs to watch reservoir dogs because all the deaths are amazing

#1 is the best example of why you should always keep your finger off the trigger, until you're ready to shoot.
How is bill only number 9?? That's like the most epic scene
*smacks chest twice* LOL SECRET ATTACK! ...yea no
Marvin's death is one of the most hilarious scenes of all ! The reactions and the consequences (which give us funny moments) are priceless :D
I thought there would've been a mention for Tarantino's death by dynamite at the end of Django Unchained, or even the final standoff/shootout at the end of Reservoir Dogs. Pretty solid list though, but Bill should be top 5.
Great list! Would've loved to see the bar massacre from inglourious basterds though, that scene has so much tension. Keep it up watchmojo
Sadie Atkins in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood needs to be on here now
the manson's death also
Love this list, could you continue Tarantino lists with the top 10 performances in his movies
Pulp Fiction is absolutely the best movie ever made
only just seen this video now and from the start i said to myself "if it aint marvin im going home" this list is fairly accurate to say th least
Once upon a time in Hollywood has entered the chat.
This is a great advert for Tarantino movies!
Can't wait for H8ful Eight!
OMG, that Klan scene in Django unchained is hilarious!! I crack up every time 🤣🤣
Anyone else just have a feeling that Marvin was gonna get shot in that scene when they first watched pulp fiction, or was it just me? Probably the least surprising kill. In fact, that many people in Tarantino's films die, i'm expecting everyone to get killed at some point haha
I walked into this top 10 thinking it would have like a 5 minute long honorable mentions list
The baseball bat scene should have made the list
Did you get that for killing jews?
"Bravery"
Wow great list I totally agree with it!!!
I love you, Tarantino.
That double death in Inglourious Basterds for Shosanna and Zoller is underrated. That death scene was beautifully done.
What about Hugo Stiglitz, Hicox and the others in the basement on Inglorious Basterds??
Alejandra Govea Hernández should’ve replaced Melanie tbh
Tarantino's deaths himself is my favorite (directing his own death is badass)
How the fuck is the standoff from Reservoir Dogs not even mentioned?
Nice video !!😊😎😉
Where the fuck is Mr Orange and Mr White's death
Censors "motherfucker" but doesn't censor "cunt" lolwhat
You had Marvin at #1 and missed out the best line! "Oh shit I just shot Marvin in the face."
Good stuff. :)
What about Elle? With her eye being snatched and stuff.. Even though idk if she even died haha.
She probably did die, I can't imagine that Beatrice would leave one of her targets alive.
+SuzakuX I doubt it, I think I remember reading that he'll probably do one last movie after The Hateful 8
Stuntman Mike. That was truly beautiful
can't wait for martin scorcese
This list should be called Tarantino's "Most Iconic" deaths. In reality, I think Bill's death tops them all. It was extremely emotional and touching, and it brought a satisfying end to a 4 hour-long epic.
its ok everyone!!!!! Im here!!!!!
Hi!!!!
daniel coyle whatz upppppppp!!!!!
Hugh Jazz the sky!!!!!!!!!
daniel coyle hell yeah it is!!!!!
yeah!!!!!!!!
Here a suggestion! Let’s make two separate Quentin Tarantino movie lists for saddest deaths and satisfying deaths!
Bill should've been #1
Maynard and Zed (if Zed counts).
Love Death Proof!
Pulp fiction one of the great movies of all time, and one of the rare movies you can watch over and over and it just keeps getting better.
Pop tarts not toast
well done...excellent number one, but yeah, for my money, stuntman Mike's death REALLY should have been somewhere on it.
did you seriously misspelled his name?
+Larry The Loner no.
LOL
+Larry The Loner misspell* and no they didn't
Get rekt noob
Watchmojo savage af
Quentin Tarantino is just the Best Regisseur EVER all fits perfect in his movies and the Dialogs are tooooo good.
I fucking knew Marvin's death would be number 1! Ha! Always makes me laugh! Now they gotta take him to D.N.S.
Perfect number 1, first time I saw it I had to pause and watch it again cause it cough me off guard
WELL WHY THE FUCK'D YOU DO THAT?
Daisy Domergue from The Hateful Eight (man that was satisfying on many ends) and most recently the members of the Manson family from Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
The Manson deaths were just brutal
@@rockgod6180 But soo amazing to watch... I have watched that scene like 20 times and I always laugh at the way Cliff just smashes the head of that red haired girl
Ezekiel 25-17. I thought for years it was a real passage haha
+Ricki Cowin It actually is, it's just paraphrased.
+Ricki Cowin It is my favorite passage from The Bible
Well it is a real passage, little bit paraphrased, and of course Samuel's version is much longer. The original verse is only this:
Ezekiel 25:17 'And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.'
*“How do I look?”*
*”you look ready...”*
True Romance: the Sicilian scene and also Gandolfini's character's death should DEFINITELY be on the list!
Even though we don't "see" Elle's death. I think it's easy to assume she didn't make it. That was an amazing scene. Should have made the list at some point.
good list
