- 19300 feet - yes, that is how high we took the Nissan Magnite CVT automatic to in Ladakh - the mighty Umling la pass.
The drive started from New Delhi and crossed through Srinagar, Zoji la pass, Leh and Hanle. Umling la pass is situated in Eastern Ladakh and is a two day drive from Leh. It is now the highest place you can ride or drive your vehicle to and the route passes through stunning, yet adventurous places. This is one road trip that should be on everyone's bucket list

I'm also an owner of Magnite Xv turbo, seeing this gives goosebumps. You guys literally advertised in most raw ways and tested the car to its limit, this clip should be recognised with Global Nissan. Kudos to you guys ☺️.
I am also planning to buy the same variant that you own Bro that is Xv turbo , have you tried your car on a steep slopes because here many roads are hilly and steep slopes

Wish you could have shown the following along the way, pratical use of features in Magnite XVP CVT:
Traction Control System, on wet/snow/slush roads
Electronic Stability Control, maintain stability in tricky situations along the route
360 camera, narrow roads with Jam
CVTs L-mode, for uphill drive & downhill as well (using L mode downhill provides engine breking)
Cruise Control, on open roads / highways
Defogger & Wiper (front & rear), performance in snow cold temperatures
Had all these been added to this video it would have raised the level manyfold 👍

Its not about the car whether its a 4wd or 2wd its suv or sedan or hatchback whether its have all modern features or not, it the drivers will power and courage that takes you to the umling la. Me and 2 friends done this in a honda amaze 2016 model manual, petrol. With 14kmpl manali upwards and 16 kmpl leh to lucknow.

Can you please confirm, did Nissan Magnit trouble you anywhere in this trip. Did you feel something missing in car or you wished to have some more feature in magnite. Could you throw some light on the engine braking of Magnite CVT in steep downhill please.. I ride from Ooty (7000 feet Above Sea Level) to Bangalore (3000 feet above sea level) often.. the roads involve a good steep downhill which I've been managing with manual mode in my Tata Nexon AMT so far.. but since Magnite CVT lacks Manual gears & also in my test drive the L mode failed to give any engine braking at all!..
I think your traction control was turned off. I get enough engine breaking on my Magnite CVT Turbo

Frankly non turbo will be tough due to lack of oxygen and powerless at such heights. But with a manual, using right gear..should be possible :-)

Yes Pankaj right. Bunny is aware of that (he visits Ladakh every few months) but for the benefit of normal users / Google search, we used "Umling la pass".

Magnite has traction control and hill start assist while kiger doesn't have

@@deepusingh4014 kiger don't hv the above two features so I don't think we can call kiger best in segment...moreover magnite has 360 camera..foglamps...crise control..tyre pressure monitoring system...connected technology..vehicle dynamic control..etc.you can visit both showrooms for information...as well

No issue in new models, Got my Nissan Magnite XL on 30th March 2022 and no such issue is there.

Venue turbo dct is much better than this, sunroof also available.
How is it 'much' better? And do note that Venue DCT top model is over 3 lakhs more than Magnite top end. Sunroof is a useless feature for Indian conditions.
