I was calling for Dennis Allen to be fired but did not think New Orleans would do it. Jameis Winston going against the grain may have given the Saints the green light to get rid of Allen. And if that's the case, thank you Jameis Winston. But you got to go too😅

What people are missing is this: The locker room HATES Dennis Allen. The man is soft like ice cream and the locker has almost revolted against Allen. Infact I used to think the Saints problem was Carr, but really Dennis is not HC material and has lost the respect of his team. There was several times thru the year Stephen where I think that people there was a step from spitting in the man's face, so this happening is not surprising.
I would be surprised if he gets punished since the reason why he overruled Allen IS POPULAR with the Saints fanbase for two reasons: 1. Their running back had been working all year and slogged his way thru the season with no TD, which the FANS NOT THE COACH like. 2. Saints fans only care if the Falcons get smashed...HARD, heck if they could have scored another TD against the Falcons, Saints fans would have been like "go ahead!!"

until a defense doesn't honor the victory formation and some player gets injured. If they ran a regular play fine but the victory formation is universally understood as a none play so that no one gets injured. Picture this your favorite QB goes into VF but now because of this play the defense blast full speed while the O line loafs because that is what both side used to do in that situation. Your favorite QB gets injured possibly with a Joe Theisman like career ender, how would you feel about that? Certain unwritten rules are there for player safety and the victory formation is one of them.

I have heard this before when a player goes rogue that "the coach does not have control over the team". Are you saying that there are never players that just have no respect for authority regardless of who the authority is?
What does control of a team look like? How does a coach that has "control" of the team act?...
Are we talking about having a fear of the coach?...fear of the consequences?
Does the fact that we are at the end of the season come into play? What recourse does the coach have at this point considering that "more than likely" the player knows he won't be back next year...
What are the consequences in professional sports besides a fine or losing a job? If the player does not care about that then what is the recourse for the coach?...especially at the end of the season?

They didn't see the lies DA told last season, when a AD threw 3 ints in 1 game with their suppose to be healthy QB on the bench. But what really turn the fans on DA was this season, the roles were reversed and DC was injured and DA let an injured DC play because JW said there was nothing wrong with him during the time when AD averaged 0.25 in the last 5 games. DA rather lose than play JW while he was healthy, he rather sign DC who quit on his team because he was benched after throwing 3 INTs. This is what the fans are upset. Loomis gave him his own guys and they still failed, not beating a winning team this season.

Stephen A. doesn't understand what it takes to be a leader. The issue is obv the coach. He's unable to read the room and his players. He's lost the team. His players are eager to go against his wishes and eager to say so postgame.
The team obv wanted Jamaal to get the TD. It was his first season with the team. He goes on injury reserve. He comes back and is mostly used as a blocker when the FB goes down. He's been misued all year. He had 6 carries within the 10 all year. The team said he's a team player whose put in the work and hasn't complained.
Jameis went in and did something for a teammate. It was a positive for team morale. Jameis got no personal gain from it, prob the opposite actually. He owned up to it. He didn't throw his coach under the bus.
The only issue is the formation. However, considering the fact the coach said his players har asked him before the play and the Saints still had timeouts, its highly likely if not impossible they could have come out in a formation other than victory without the coach pulling the plug. And there's no precedent set bc anyone with half a brain knows it was a one off.
