Thank you! This saved me from having to buy an elgato capture card with chat link. I've been using the genki shadowcast since i dont usually add commentary but for some games that I play with friends I had to stream directly to youtube to capture all audio. I just tested this out with a friend using still the genki and it works!
I have the hd 60 s connected to my pc and ps5 and i still cant hear the other players voice in my records when making final killcam clips It show the logo of them speaking but when making the video i cant hear the players voice for reaction HOW DO I FIX THE PROBLEM I dont have OBS installed instead I’m using the 4k capture utility
Not necessarily, wherever you plan on talking to them you just need to make sure that audio is received by the streaming software and that you have a mic connected to talk with them.
Probably won’t see this but I followed the instructions and my issue is that the remote play app won’t connect to my mic because it says it’s being used by another app which is OBS. Not sure how to fix that
that's so you can use the controller with you remote play session. Otherwise youll need to use a second account to use the controller directly with your playstation

On PS5 you don’t have as much control for muting and deafening like discord. You would need to mute yourself manually every time when in chat. In my case I use a mic with a mute function connected to my PS5 for seamless muting.
Is there anyway you do a video of setting up the elgato to the ps5 and computer, how to set up your Webcam to be seen and then how to set up a individual mic so your commentary can be heard? Because I'm wanting to get into doing youtube videos and I don't plan on do multiplayer games, just single player games.
Wait can’t you just plug the mic’s usb into the ps5 and then send all the audio from ps5 to OBS or stream deck so that you can use this mic for both game chat and stream?
I'm stuck. I can get audio to stream great. But the second I plug in the cords to my controller it gives me no option other than using the mic on the ps5 controller, not my headset even though I hear game and chat in headset. And the mic on controller sucks

Got hd 60x and yesterday was installing uninstalling drivers. Couldn’t understand what I’m doing wrong. Was nothing wrong nor before nor do after. Till i came to the point, that my steels series nowa pro wire causing the issue…. But is it really headset or it is capcard? Because previously i had hd60 slim and was working fine, but on that one i had write drivers. So as hd60x got its own drivers which comes through straight away. What I’m missing here?

This just doesn't work on my Windows 11 Pro with PS5. as soon as the controller is connected on Windows, Remote play looses all audio, and there is no controller connection. If I am connected to the playstation, remote play closes

@@DatBoiGilly I think I figured it out last night. I have the same Yeti mic which is plugged into my Laptop and picks up on OBS. You can’t use that for like game chat but you use that to talk to chat. Your headphones that are probably on your head already is what your friends hear you on in the party etc. but your chat also will hear your party friends through the game audio (in short: obs (if your wiring is right) will pick up everything in your headphones but not your headphones mic, that’s what your yeti is for))
@@DatBoiGilly I thought I could somehow have my mic from the headset also be displayed in OBS but the console doesn’t send audio that way. You would probably need a chat link cable (I don’t have yet) to do that. Once I get that cable I’ll test it out again

I have 2 mics one for console other for PC(OBS) n my headset is the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless. My question is how do I stream wirelessly without having to get an aux splitter, putting that into the controller and putting one aux into my HD60x(game capture card) and the other to my headphones?
If your controller is being used directly with the console, this will be the case. Use controller with computer and remote play on one account and it should work

For some reason my party chat can't hear me when I have my USB mic connected to my pc anymore. I've been streaming for a few weeks with no mic issues, changed no settings and then yesterday my party couldn't hear me anymore. So have to plug mic in ps5 for them to hear but then my stream can't hear me. Any suggestions?
Hey I had this problem, then id found windows set my ps5 controller as the default input mic so i changed default back to my yeti mic and that fixed the problem! maybe the same with yours..

Can only have the interface connected to one device at a time. So if you want to talk on PC you need to select a mic on computer. UNLESS you do it the way I show in this video via remote play to get your mic to work for game chat

you'll still need chat link or have it pulled over hdmi because the game audio and chat audio funnel in together

I turn it off by either disconnecting it from settings or turning it off like I turned it on

For some reason my party chat can't hear me when I have my USB mic connected to my pc anymore. I've been streaming for a few weeks with no mic issues, changed no settings and then yesterday my party couldn't hear me anymore. So have to plug mic in ps5 for them to hear but then my stream can't hear me. Any suggestions?
You’ll want to either run the setup in this video or get a second mic so you have one for each chat method

Hey I had this problem, then id found windows set my ps5 controller as the default input mic so i changed default back to my yeti mic and that fixed the problem! maybe the same with yours..
Do you necessarily need to play on remote play can play on the same monitor if the frames are alligned
You can just let remote play go in the background while looking at the monitor that has the gameplay in real time
Is it possible to use an elgato hd60 x whilst using a Astro tr mixamp, and being able to choose between talking in a party on ps5 and talking on the pc in discord?
Can only have the interface connected to one device at a time. So if you want to talk on PC you need to select a mic on computer. UNLESS you do it the way I show in this video via remote play to get your mic to work for game chat

But I don't have a capture device (neither Gato nor any other). In this way that you explain it, with the Bluetooth of the controller, is it possible???... Because I connected headphones to the joystick, but I can hear it so badly that unfortunately I end up silencing it and I lose the opportunity for my friends to listen to me inside the game.
Listen to the audio from the computer when your controller is connected to the computer. No need to plug anything into controller.
