- A devastating crash in Grand Prairie killed an innocent family from Garland over the weekend. Police have two suspects in custody and blame the crash on street racing.
Life without parole for those two is the most lenient any judge should go.

I've seen that same red charger before. Crazy how the suspects never die. It's always the innocent people who lose their lives. Heartbreaking, now that young boy has to grow up without his family.
It sickens me knowing that there were screams coming from the burning vehicle and they couldn't all be saved.
I feel for this woman. Those screams are not going away. I would have thought they were killed instantly. I pray for this woman.
OMG! You’re right. I rewatched the video. The witness saw the car engulfed in flames and she heard screams coming from the car. Jesus. Those poor people burned alive. That’s just horrible. God, please help the surviving teenage boy survive, and condolences to his parents and little brother and sister,

@@grimeyhonkyracing3938 apparently, the teenage boy is about to start either his junior or senior yr of high school. He’s in critical condition at the hospital fighting for his life. The Aunt was on another news station saying that the family was returning home from Six Flags. One last vacation fun before the 3 kids were to start school.
That poor young man is going to wake up without a family...and possibly physical damage that he will suffer from for the rest of his life...this is beyond tragic...it's heart breaking.
I'm a Texan and there's almost no traffic law enforcement here anymore. That's why people think they can get away with racing on streets. Just discussed problems with a state DPS officer in charge of a multi-county region and was told he doesn't have half the troopers he needs to enforce the law and create safety.
Same thing here on the East Coast. Free for all here in Maryland and Pennsylvania.

Just like we crackdown on illegal immigration and not allowing hospitals to let just anybody in so they have to check immigration status we also cracked down on this and have been arresting a lot of people for street racing. Florida is making a lot of money off of these dummies and I'm so glad. They will even arrest spectators. Since this started last year we've had a lot quieter time on the streets around us. Prayers for everybody in the family.

My husband's family was wiped out by a reckless high 19 yr old and he is 45 now and he still misses them terribly. It was devastating and that kid had no clue what damage he did. He eventually figured it out. Revenge is better served cold.

Everyone keeps pointing to the bandaid solution of more policing failing to realize the permanent solution lies in better road design. Other developed nations have tackled this problem quite well. Are there still incidents? Sure, sometimes. But not nearly at the level or same intensity as the ones here where the bad road design actively promotes this kind of thing.

I am so sorry for the people that lost their loved ones including two children, but I am praying for that little boy that’s in the hospital in critical condition and I hope that the city will press charges against the two people that were responsible of this fatal crash over street racing

This is getting out of control where is the police when it matters??!
They either do this themselves too often in their free time or are too sympathetic. I contact the police about such things and they blame me for not letting them enjoy themselves essentially.
Considering every major city has a shortage of officers, they can hardly be on every corner of every street 24/7.

Add speed bumps intermittently, so it not such a desire location for speed racing

Oh dear god. Did that family just fill up with gas? They were trapped and all of them burned to death. What a horrific way to die. My prayers to the boy clinging on to life in this hospital, and condolences on losing his mother, father, brother, and sister.
