I don't recomend to drill "a bigger hole" into the nozzle. You need to know the exact nozzle hole diameter for the used gas. If anyone need to change a nozzle, you buy a nozzle for Popane-Butane or for Natural Gas/Biogas = Methane.
The bigger the process, the easier and more efficient the process etc.. I'm retired from a big city in the USA that uses anaerobic multi-million gallon digesters (design dated to about mid/late 1940's. So hardly state-of-art now!) for methane production. "Scrubbing" and compressing is, of course, required. The gas powers the entire facility with a huge surplus sold back to grid and (that not allowed for sale to grid-) eliminated with waste gas burners. Anaerobic (methane producing) digester tech. is almost 100 yrs old. The anaerobic (municipal sewage) facility where I worked was built in 1950. Another observation is that aerobic processes are vastly more expensive to operate, and are no more, nor less bad-odor producing.
Hello! Could you please let me know how to get rid of the biogas bad smell, its mixes with our food and causes eye itching, etc too. We tried using carbon pallets but its not working.
No need to drill pilot hole just cover the air mixer vents in the line leading to the burner. Methane bio don't need air mixer to burn on a LP or NG stoves.
Activated carbon pallets are not suitable tool for removing hydrogen sulfide (H2S). I recommend you use iron oxide pallets. It is not expensive compared to activated carbon pallets. It can remove hydrogen sulfide in biogas up to 98% by chemical bonding.
@@letsplaysquire3257 There are many videos on RUclips that use iron wool as a filter material without rusting. But that's the wrong way. Biogas does not rust iron wool because it contains only trace amounts of oxygen. Therefore, the surface of iron wool retains its original color without turning red-brown even after a long period of time. Iron wool is so fine that it burns when lit. Do not confuse household stainless steel scrubbers with iron wool.
@@vladimirnachev324 Gas fed via a gas pump to the cooker. 2No. non return valves. You don''t have an arrestor on a normal gas line and it is more flammable. That said adding an arrestor would be very simple. Thanks for your comments.
I tried but not lighting up can u give me some tutorials, I used water, I had little silica gel so I mixed it up with clay and then I used wire wool, but not even coming out talk more of lighting up,pls sir help me
I recently converted a natural gas stove to LP gas. The jet ports are all sized according to the size of the burner.

Steel wool filter to remove the hydrogen sulfide

Gud job
Excellent video
cheers!
Great Video.

Thanks for your comment, not as commonly available in Europe.
@@mygug5812 Other such filters I've seen just use compressed iron wool
Thank you for your suggestion of iron oxide pellets... however where can one get these in EU ? I'm stuck.

Hi this is great. How can i find activated carbon?
Not sure, where are you?
Bigger holes? Do we need a flashback arrestor now?
The gas velocity is too high.
@@mygug5812 what if pressure drops?

@@mygug5812 yeah but the only pump here is the rubber tires they use
we are going by Biogas buses in the city I´m living on.
We hope to make biogas usage a lot more common. Thanks Mariquita.
My pleasure@@mygug5812 !
Maybe biomethane? BioCH4 is biogas without all the impurities, like H2S, CO2, etc...
Can activated carbon be used to reduce the moisture content from biogas?
No not really. A moisture trap works best.
How do you maintain temperature of the digester?
Our digesters are insulated and we have a proprietary heating system and controls.
Good luck
thanks.
So how often do you change the activated carbon?
Depends on the gas flow but usually once or twice a year.
How did you make the jet hole bigger
Just a standard drill bit. Between 0.8mm to about 1.8mm depending on the size of the ring.

Gas is produced all the time as long as you put food waste in.
is methane gas safe tho ?

50kg of compressed gas a year? That's long man? Please clarify.
That is about 100,000 L of biogas a year.
@@mygug5812 If you converted a car to run on compressed biogas, how far does 50kg equate to in mileage?

My friend very good system what is this black pellets my RUclips channel name BoseNK High pressure bio gas plant to fuel and energy from waste plastic
