Budgie - the soundtrack of my life. Discovered them as a 17 year old and these old tracks sound as fresh now as they did then now I'm 67. I love the lyrics, the riffs, the quiet bits, the loud bits, just love it all, just real songs. Some good memories. One of the best was going to The Red House in Newcastle (England) which was down the quayside. They had the best juke box I've ever encountered in my life, including Parachutist Woman. Probably the worst song on the juke box was Bowie and The Man Who Sold the World, and I loved that song. It was a pub full of bikers, rockers and Hells Angels, but it had the best atmosphere of any pub I ever went to and never any trouble. I'll never forget those days. They made a big impression on a 17 year old.
En 1970 yo era muy joven y esta canción Parents me atrapó, la escucho todos los días. Sencillamente magistral y Budgie es excelente banda Ben¡¡¡¡¡s¡¡¡¡¡moooo

One of the greatest bands of all time. Their acoustic stuff is absolutely awesome. 🖤🖤🖤
Ufff! Excellent! A Masterpiece! 🎸🎸🎸👋👍🍺
Saw them at the Hammersmith Odeon live in 1977.
San Antonio
1978
Marquee Club London 1974😁. But a very small club on Southsea pier in 2006 was the most outstanding gig...
Superb..
Damn this song makes me cry.
Bourge is the reason I've strived to play and write great music. Too bad it doesn't translate well today... Overlooked.
Mi canción favorita de todos los tiempos. La versión original🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
Love you all and keep you all my life

@Cugel58 It's Tony Bourge.
Wow. Where did you find this? I thought I had every thing by Budgie.
On quite a few of Budgie's older albums, there are rerecorded versions of a couple of their songs on the remastered editions of the LPs.
People don't know this band .but when they will do it will be full of ecstasy....
he hasn't passed away, he just retired form the music business

@@stevieporteous Yes he does, he plays on several tracks on the most recent Remastered CDs.
@@Petesy68 really? Cool. I stand corrected.
@@stevieporteous You have to get the CDs or find them on RUclips, most of the remasters aren't on Spotify or iTunes etc.
@@Petesy68 ive got all of them plus 78 bootlegs
